Abstract
A welder protection mask, containing a basic support element with a viewing opening for receiving a filter element as a dazzle protection device. The welder protection mask includes at least one pliable mask region which connects to the basic support element, and the pliable mask region contains a sheet-like, wall-like mask element or consists thereof, which is characterised by a characteristic that it is manually deformable and may be bent into different positions or three-dimensional shapes.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A welder protection mask, containing a basic support element with a viewing opening for receiving a filter element as a dazzle protection, wherein the welder protection mask comprises:
at least one pliable mask region which connects to the basic support element, and wherein the pliable mask region contains a sheet-like, wall-like mask element or consists thereof, which is characterised by the characteristic that the mask element is manually deformable and may be bent into different positions or three-dimensional shapes.
2 . A welder protection mask according to claim 1 , wherein the pliable mask element is characterised by the characteristic that it is plastically deformable in a manual manner, and is self-supporting and shape-stable before as well as after a manual reshaping step.
3 . A welder protection mask according to claim 1 , wherein the pliable mask region comprises a flexible, pliable sheet-like mask element which via a support and locking device fastened directly or indirectly on the welder protection mask, on the basic support element, may be fixed and supported in a certain position or shaping.
4 . A welder protection mask according to claim 3 , wherein the welder protection mask comprises a head strap for wearing the welder protection mask, said head strap being fastened on the basic support element, and the support and locking device is attached on the head strap.
5 . A welder protection mask according to claim 1 , wherein the flexible, pliable mask element is or contains a sheet-like, textile sheet formation.
6 . A welder projection mask according to claim 1 , wherein the mask element is composed of a composite of at least two materials, wherein at least a first material is plastically deformable and exerts a shape-stabilising effect on the mask element.
7 . A welder protection mask according to claim 6 , wherein the pliable mask element as a first material has one or an arrangement of several metal elements which assumes or assume a material composite with a flexible or deformable material, with a material containing or consisting of plastic, as a second material.
8 . A welder protection mask according to claim 6 , wherein the pliable mask element comprises one or more metal elements which are coated on one or on both sides with a plastic.
9 . A welder protection mask according to claim 6 , wherein the metal element or metal elements of the pliable mask element are two-dimensional-like metal elements, such as sheet metals or metal films or metal wires.
10 . A welder protection mask according to claim 6 , wherein the material composite as a first or second material comprise a textile sheet formation.
11 . A welder protection mask according to claim 5 , wherein the textile sheet formation comprises one or a combination of two or more of the following materials, or consist thereof:
plastic fibres carbon fibres glass fibres metal fibres/metal wire.
12 . A welder projection mask according to claim 5 , wherein the textile sheet formation is coated on one or on both sides with a plastic.
13 . A welder protection mask according to claim 1 , wherein the pliable mask region edges the basic support element at least on sections, preferably completely.
14 . A welder projection mask according to claim 1 , wherein the welder protection mask comprises at least one or any combination of two or more than two of the following zones, which are designed as pliable mask regions:
side zones for covering the ear portions; a neck zone for covering at least a part of the neck portion; a crown zone for covering at least a part of the crown region (head upper side); a rear head zone for covering at least a part of the rear head, a nape zone for covering at least a part of the nape of the neck; a jaw zone for covering at least a part of the lower jaw portion.Cited by (0)
