Abstract

A received document input and output device connected to a network and using a plurality of communication protocols, the document input and output device communicating documents in various data forms with a plurality of information devices, includes a storing part configured to store the documents received via a communication part; a printing part configured to print the documents; a setting part configured to set management information; and a periodic implementation part configured to control the parts processing the document based on the management information and an output of a clock part configured to count day and time.

         20 . A document input and output apparatus comprising:
 a storing unit configured to store document data inputted via a network;   a clock unit configured to count day and time;   a forwarding unit configured to forward the document data stored in the storing unit to a designated address at a designated day and time; and   a control unit configured to control the forwarding unit to forward the document data to the designated address when the day and time counted by the clock unit corresponds to the designated day and time.   
     
     
         21 . The document input and output apparatus according to  claim 20 , wherein the control unit is configured to read the document data from the storing unit when the day and time counted by the clock unit corresponds to the designated day and time, and configured to control the forwarding unit to forward the document data read from the storing unit to the designated address. 
     
     
         22 . The document input and output apparatus according to  claim 20 , wherein the storing unit is configured to store the document data in one of an email folder and facsimile folder. 
     
     
         23 . The document input and output apparatus according to  claim 20 , further comprising a setting receiving unit configured to receive information indicating the designated address and the designated day and time. 
     
     
         24 . The document input and output apparatus according to  claim 23 , wherein the setting receiving unit is configured to receive a security setting for the document data. 
     
     
         25 . The document input and output apparatus according to  claim 20 , wherein the storing unit is configured to store the document data of which a character portion can be searched. 
     
     
         26 . A document data outputting method comprising:
 storing document data inputted via a network;   counting day and time;   forwarding the stored document data to a designated address at a designated day and time; and   controlling the forwarding of the document data so that the document data is forwarded to the designated address when the day and time counted by the clock unit corresponds to the designated day and time.
