Abstract

Inactivated protein derivatives of the hIFN-γ that preserve affinity to the hIFN-γ receptor are useful in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, especially multiple sclerosis.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 7 . (canceled)

8 . An inhibitor of endogenous human interferon-γ (hIFN-γ) comprising an inactivated recombinant hIFN-γ protein having binding affinity for the hIFN-γ receptor and consisting of recombinant protein hIFN-γ inactivated by UV radiation.

9 . An inhibitor of endogenous human interferon-γ (hIFN-γ) consisting of recombinant hIFN-γ protein, inactivated by UV radiation, with preserved binding affinity for the hIFN-γ receptor.

10 . An inhibitor of endogenous human interferon-γ (hIFN-γ) consisting of inactivated recombinant hIFN-γ protein having preserved binding affinity for the hIFN-γ receptor, wherein inactivation is effected by UV radiation.
