The apparatus of claim 3 wherein at least a portion of said bottom end of each of said tether elements of said folded tethers is sewn to reinforce said compartment of said tether and provide an aperture for allowing said cord to pass through and secure said plug within said compartment.

. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said attachment device is selected from a group consisting essentially of hooks, crabclaws, carabineers, clamps and combinations thereof.

. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said sleeve, said tether with said compartments and said plug assist in preventing said cord from breaking and snapping during stretching of said cord, said plug comprising at least one ball.

. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein at least one end of said limit band is attached to at least a portion of said plug.

. The apparatus of claim 4 wherein said aperture of said tether is reinforced to allow said plug and an end of said cord from staying within said compartment.

. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said tether is a strap.

. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said plug comprises an aperture through said plug, said limit band passes through said aperture and is secured at one end of said plug.

. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said plug comprises a ball with a channel, at least a portion of one end of said limit band is situated within said channel and secured to said ball.

. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said plug comprises a hollow element and a ball, at least a portion of one end of said limit band is situated within said channel and secured to said ball, said ball is situated within said hollow element, said hollow element having an aperture through which said limit band passes.

. A resistance exercise apparatus comprising:
a stretchable cord having opposing first and second ends, said cord having an internal cavity and an external surface; at least one plug being inserted within said internal cavity of said cord adjacent said first end of said cord; at least one limit band situated within said internal cavity of said cord and attached to at least a portion of said plug; at least one attachment device; and at least one tether comprised of a fabric material that is folded over at least a portion of said attachment devices forming two tether elements, said tether elements are placed together to create a compartment, at least a portion of said plug with a portion of said cord and a portion of said limit band is situated within said compartment.

. The apparatus of claim 13 further comprising at least one sleeve, said sleeve being placed over said external surface of said cord, said plug being situated within a length of said sleeves.

. The apparatus of claim 14 wherein said sleeve has an extended portion, said extended portion functions as a grip.

. The apparatus of claim 13 wherein said tether elements of said folded tether has opposing ends and a bottom end, said opposing ends are sewn together for reinforcement of said compartment for tether, at least a portion of said bottom end of said tether elements of said folded tether is sewn to reinforce said compartment of said tether and provide an aperture for allowing said cord to pass through and secure said plug within said compartment.
