Abstract
The present invention provides a catechol-based derivative and a pharmaceutical acceptable salt therefrom and a solvate therefrom. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating diabetes and ischemia, comprising a catechol-based derivative of formula (I) and at least one selected from the group consisting of a pharmaceutical excipient, a diluent and a carrier.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A catechol-based derivative being one of a compound of a formula (I) and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof,
wherein R 1 and R 2 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, —OR, —NO 2 , —NH 2 , and a halogen;
R in the —OR is one selected from the group consisting of H, (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, (CH 2 ) n Ph, SO 3 ″ and Ar;
R 3 is one of O and S;
R 4 is N;
X and Y are selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, and —OCH 2 —;
R 5 is one selected from the group consisting of H, (C 1 -C 15 )alkyl, (CH 2 ) n Ar and Ar, wherein the n is an integer from 1 to 3; and
R 6 is one of H and (C 1 -C 6 ) alkyl.
2 . The catechol-based derivative as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the two R 1 substituents of the benzene ring form a structure of:
3 . The catechol-based derivative as claimed in claim 2 , wherein Ar is capable of being substituted by one selected from the group consisting of
and a heteroaryl group;
wherein R 7 , R 8 , R 9 are selected from the group consisting of H, —OH, —OCH 3 , —NO 2 , —NH 2 , —NH 3 + , and a halogen; and
X − represents one of an organic alkali and an inorganic alkali.
4 . A pharmaceutical composition for treating diabetes, comprising a catechol-based derivative of claim 1 and at least one selected from the group consisting of a pharmaceutical excipient, a diluent and a carrier.
5 . A pharmaceutical composition for treating an ischemia, comprising a catechol-based derivative of claim 1 and at least one selected from the group consisting of a pharmaceutical excipient, a diluent and a carrier.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
