Abstract

A method and device for supporting bone graft including a porous enclosure having a first collapsed state and a second expanded state wherein the second expanded state is sized to conform to the excavated intervertebral cavity upon insertion of bone graft into the enclosure.

 a porous enclosure having a first collapsed state and a second expanded state;   the second expanded state sized to conform to the excavated intervertebral cavity upon insertion of bone graft into the enclosure.   
     
     
         2 . A method of supporting bone graft in an excavated intervertbral cavity comprising:
 inserting a porous enclosure in a collapsed state into an excavated intervertebral cavity;   filling the porous enclosure with bone graft to expand the porous enclosure such that the porous enclosure and bone graft conform to the intervertebral cavity.
