Abstract
An display device package including a first substrate, an display device, a second substrate, a welding glue, and a first adhesive layer is provided. The display device is disposed on the first substrate. The second substrate is disposed above the first substrate and the display device. The welding glue is welded with the first substrate and the second substrate and surrounds the display device, wherein the welding glue has a continuous pattern. The first adhesive layer is adhered to the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the first adhesive layer is disposed between the display device and the welding glue and surrounds the display device, and the material of the first adhesive layer and the material of the welding glue are different.

a first substrate; a display device disposed on the first substrate; a second substrate disposed above the first substrate and the display device; a welding glue disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and substantially surrounding the display device, wherein the welding glue has a continuous pattern; and a first adhesive layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the first adhesive layer is substantially disposed between the display device and the welding glue, the first adhesive layer substantially surrounds the display device, and a material of the first adhesive layer is different from a material of the welding glue.
2 . The display device package as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the welding glue comprises a glass frit.
3 . The display device package as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first adhesive layer has a continuous pattern.
4 . The display device package as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first adhesive layer has a discontinuous pattern.
5 . The display device package as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the discontinuous pattern comprises a plurality of strip patterns.
6 . The display device package as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a material of the first adhesive layer comprises a photo-curable material, a thermal curable material, or a self-curable material.
7 . The display device package as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a second adhesive layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the welding glue is disposed between the second adhesive layer and the display device.
8 . The display device package as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the second adhesive layer has a continuous pattern.
9 . The display device package as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the second adhesive layer has a discontinuous pattern.
10 . The display device package as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the discontinuous pattern comprises a plurality of strip patterns.
11 . The display device package as claimed in claim 7 , wherein a material of the second adhesive layer comprises a photo-curable material, a thermal curable material, or a self-curable material.
12 . The display device package as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the display device comprises an organic light emitting display device, an inorganic light emitting display device, an electro-phoretic display device, or the combinations thereof.
13 . A packaging process of a display device, comprising:
providing a first substrate having an display device formed thereon; forming a welding glue and a first adhesive layer on a second substrate, wherein the welding glue is disposed on the second substrate, and the welding glue has a continuous pattern; and joining the first substrate and the second substrate with at least one of the welding glue and the first adhesive layer, wherein the welding glue and the first adhesive layer substantially surround the display device, the first adhesive layer is disposed between the display device and the welding glue, and the material of the first adhesive layer is different from the material of the welding glue.
14 . The packaging process of the display device as claimed in claim 13 , wherein the step of forming the welding glue and the first adhesive layer on the second substrate comprises:
curing a welding material so as to form the welding glue on the second substrate; and forming the first adhesive layer on the second substrate after the welding material is cured.
15 . The packaging process of the display device as claimed in claim 13 , wherein for the step of joining the first substrate and the second substrate comprises:
curing the first adhesive layer so that the second substrate is adhered to the first substrate; and melting the welding glue after the first adhesive layer is cured.
16 . A packaging process of a display device, comprising:
providing a first substrate having an display device formed thereon; forming a welding glue, a first adhesive layer, and a second adhesive layer on a second substrate, wherein the welding glue has a continuous pattern; and joining the first substrate and the second substrate with at least one of the welding glue, the first adhesive layer, and the second adhesive layer, wherein the welding glue, the first adhesive layer, and the second adhesive layer substantially surround the display device, the first adhesive layer is disposed between the display device and the welding glue, the welding glue is disposed between the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer, and the material of the first adhesive layer is different from the material of the welding glue.
17 . The packaging process of the display device as claimed in claim 16 , wherein for the step of forming the welding glue, the first adhesive layer, and the second adhesive layer on the second substrate comprises:
curing a welding material so as to form the welding glue on the second substrate; and forming the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer on the second substrate after the welding material is cured.
18 . The packaging process of the display device as claimed in claim 16 , wherein the step of joining the first substrate and the second substrate comprises:
curing the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer so that the second substrate is adhered to the first substrate; and melting the welding glue after the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer are cured.
19 . A display device package, comprising:
a first substrate; a display device disposed on the first substrate; a second substrate disposed above the first substrate and the display device; a welding glue on the first substrate and the second substrate and substantially surrounding the display device, wherein the welding glue has a continuous pattern; and a first adhesive layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the first adhesive layer substantially surrounds the display device and has a discontinuous pattern, and the discontinuous pattern comprises three or more openings.
20 . The display device package as claimed in claim 19 , wherein the welding glue is disposed between the display device and the first adhesive layer.
21 . The display device package as claimed in claim 20 , further comprising a second adhesive layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the second adhesive layer substantially surrounds the display device and has a discontinuous pattern, and the welding glue is disposed between the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer.
