Abstract
A method of treating wet or dry fabrics in a dryer the method comprises the steps of placing the fabrics into the dryer, delivering a liquid composition onto the fabrics and drying the fabrics, the composition comprising a solvent and active ingredients wherein the active ingredients have a Maximum Stickiness of about 2500 Force (g) as measured under the conditions defined herein.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of treating wet or dry fabrics in a dryer, the method comprising the steps of placing the fabrics into the dryer, delivering a liquid composition onto the fabrics and drying the fabrics, the composition comprising a solvent and active ingredients, wherein the active ingredients have a Maximum Stickiness of about 2500 g, said composition comprising by weight percentage from about 0.005% to about 1% of the active ingredient siloxane surfactant having the general formula:
R 1 —(CH 3 ) 2 SiO—[(CH 3 ) 2 SiO] a —[(CH 3 )(R 1 )SiO] b —Si(CH 3 ) 2 —R 1
wherein a+b are from about 1 to about 50, wherein at least one R 1 is a poly(ethyleneoxide/propyleneoxide) copolymer group having the general formula:
—(CH 2 ) n O(C 2 H 4 O) c (C 3 H 6 O) d R 2
wherein n is selected from 3 or 4; the total c (for all polyalkyleneoxy side groups) has a value of from about 1 to about 100; the total d is from 0 to about 14; the total c+d has a value of from about 5 to about 150; and each R 2 is the same or different and is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, an alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and an acetyl group.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition is free from cyclodextrins.
3 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition is free from quaternary ammonium compounds.
4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein at least one active ingredient is a perfume.
5 . The method according to claim 4 , wherein the active ingredients comprise by weight percentage at least about 50% perfume.
6 . The method according to claim 5 , wherein the perfume comprises at least 30% by weight a perfume material having a boiling point of less than 250° C. at 1 atmosphere.
7 . The method according to claim 1 wherein the active ingredients comprise preservative.
R 1 —(CH 3 ) 2 SiO—[(CH 3 ) 2 SiO] a —[(CH 3 )(R 1 )SiO] b —Si(CH 3 ) 2 —R 1
wherein a+b is from about 1 to about 50, wherein at least one R 1 is a poly(ethyleneoxide/propyleneoxide) copolymer group having the general formula:
—(CH 2 ) n O(C 2 H 4 O) c (C 3 H 6 O) d R 2
wherein n is selected from 3 or 4; the total c (for all polyalkyleneoxy side groups) has a value of from about 1 to about 100; the total d is from 0 to about 14; the total c+d has a value of from about 5 to about 150; and each R 2 is the same or different and is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, an alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and an acetyl group; and
further wherein the composition is free from cyclodextrins and quaternary ammonium compounds.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
