Cosmetic holder

Abstract

A holder for a releasably holding makeup stored in metal containers is provided. The holder is magnetized to permit different shades of makeup to be held by the support. A cover is provided to permit the makeup container to be retained by the holder during use, storage, handling and/or travel.

1 . A cosmetic holder comprising;
 a base assembly including a metal base and a frame for defining a recess; and   a plurality of metal containers, each containing having makeup therein, whereby the container can be received in the recess;   and one of the containers and/or base is magnetic to permit the makeup containers to be magnetically releasably secured to the base.   
     
     
         2 . A cosmetic holder as claimed in  claim 1  wherein the metal base is found of a magnetized sheet of metal. 
     
     
         3 . A cosmetic support as claimed in  claim 2 , and including a cover that is secured to the outside of the magnetic sheet to form a base portion, a spine portion and a top cover portion. 
     
     
         4 . A cosmetic support as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein the base portions of the cover includes a frame that is cut out and is mounted to the metal sheet to define a recess for receiving the metal makeup containers. 
     
     
         5 . A cosmetic support as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein the cover portion includes a clear member, a top frame having an opening, the frame securing member between the outer cover and the frame in order to define a window for viewing the makeup containers that are supported on the magnetic base, when the cover assembly is closed.
