Hybrid core construction

Abstract

A method of constructing a home on a land site. A modular core of the home is built offsite and delivered to the site and secured to a foundation located thereon. The modular core is defined as containing all wet areas of the home including all of its kitchen and bathroom areas, cabinetry, fixtures, duct work and supporting electrical and plumbing connections. The stick portions of the home are built on the land site to be integrated with the modular core which together comprising the entirety of the home

A method of constructing a home on a land site comprising constructing a modular core of said home offsite, said modular core comprising all wet areas of said home comprising all of its kitchen and bathroom areas and their supporting electrical and plumbing connections, delivering said modular core to said land site and securing it to a foundation, and constructing stick portions of said home on said land site integrated with said modular core which together comprising entirety of said home. 
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1  wherein a plurality of differing stick portions are designed to be integrated with a singular modular core. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said modular core further comprises cabinetry and countertops within said kitchen and bathroom areas. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said modular core further comprises appliances and fixtures within said kitchen and bathroom areas. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said modular core further comprises sheetrock, electrical switches and electrical lighting. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said modular core further comprises windows. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said modular core is fully sided. 
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 7  wherein said modular core is fully sided with cementitious hardboard. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said modular core comprises only the wet areas of said home. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 9  wherein a mechanical system of said home is located atop said modular core upon delivery of said modular core to said land site.
