Abstract
A backlight unit is disclosed. The backlight unit includes a light emitting device to emit light, an optical member to guide the light emitted from the light emitting device, a bottom chassis disposed on a rear surface of the optical member so as to support the optical member, a supporting member coming into partial contact with the bottom chassis so as to support a module including the light emitting device and a shock-absorbing member disposed between the rear surface of the optical member and the bottom chassis.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A backlight unit comprising:
a light emitting device; an optical member to guide the light emitted from the light emitting device; a bottom chassis disposed on a rear surface of the optical member; a supporting member contacting with the bottom chassis, a module including the light emitting device is disposed on the supporting member; and a shock-absorbing member disposed between the rear surface of the optical member and the bottom chassis.
2 . The backlight unit according to claim 1 , wherein the optical member includes a light guide plate.
3 . The backlight unit according to claim 2 , wherein the optical member further includes a reflective sheet disposed between the shock-absorbing member and the light guide plate.
4 . The backlight unit according to claim 1 , wherein the shock-absorbing member directly contact with at least one of the rear surface of the optical member and the bottom chassis.
5 . The backlight unit according to claim 1 , wherein the shock-absorbing member is disposed in a region of the optical member.
6 . The backlight unit according to claim 1 , wherein the shock-absorbing member has the form of a line.
7 . The backlight unit according to claim 1 , wherein the shock-absorbing member has the form of two lines facing each other.
8 . The backlight unit according to claim 1 , wherein the bottom chassis includes at least one first protrusion protruding toward the light guide plate, and the shock-absorbing member contacts with a surface of the at least one first protrusion.
9 . The backlight unit according to claim 1 , wherein the shock-absorbing member is an insulating tape.
10 . The backlight unit according to claim 1 , wherein the supporting member is a bracket including a vertical portion perpendicular to the bottom chassis and a horizontal portion connected to the vertical portion.
11 . The backlight unit according to claim 10 , wherein the shock-absorbing member is disposed between the horizontal portion of the bracket and the optical member.
12 . The backlight unit according to claim 10 , wherein the supporting member further includes a guide panel.
13 . The backlight unit according to claim 10 , wherein the horizontal portion of the bracket includes at least one second protrusion protruding toward the optical member, and the shock-absorbing member contacts with a surface of the at least one second protrusion.
14 . The backlight unit according to claim 10 , wherein the bottom chassis includes at least one first protrusion protruding toward the optical member, and the backlight unit further comprises a second shock-absorbing member provided between the at least one first protrusion and the optical member.
15 . A display device comprising:
a liquid crystal panel; and a backlight unit to irradiate light to the liquid crystal panel, wherein the backlight unit includes a light emitting device to emit light, an optical member to guide the light emitted from the light emitting device, a bottom chassis disposed on a rear surface of the optical member so as to support the optical member, a supporting member partially contacting with the bottom chassis, a module including the light emitting device is disposed on the supporting member, and a shock-absorbing member disposed between the rear surface of the optical member and the bottom chassis.
16 . The display device according to claim 15 , wherein the optical member includes a light guide plate and a reflective sheet disposed between the shock-absorbing member and the light guide plate.
17 . The display device according to claim 15 , wherein the shock-absorbing member directly contact with at least one of the rear surface of the optical member and the bottom chassis.
18 . The display device according to claim 15 , wherein the shock-absorbing member has the form of a line.
19 . The display device according to claim 15 , wherein the bottom chassis includes at least one first protrusion protruding toward the light guide plate, and the shock-absorbing member contacts with a surface of the at least one first protrusion.
20 . The display device according to claim 15 , wherein the supporting member is a bracket including a vertical portion perpendicular to the bottom chassis and a horizontal portion connected to the vertical portion.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
