Abstract

A baby crib comprises a support frame, and a bassinet connected with the support frame. The bassinet includes a bottom board, an enclosure and a cover element. The enclosure has a lower end connected with a peripheral edge portion of the bottom board to define an inner space. A front of the enclosure has a side opening, and the cover element is movable relative to the enclosure to cover and uncover the side opening.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A baby crib comprising:
a support frame; and a bassinet connected with the support frame, wherein the bassinet includes a side opening, and a cover element operable to cover and uncover the side opening.

2 . The baby crib according to claim 1 , wherein the support frame includes two support tube assemblies and a base, each of the support tube assemblies includes an upright segment and an arm connected with an upper end of the upright segment, the arm bending to one side of the upright segment and having a distal end connected with the bassinet.

3 . The baby crib according to claim 2 , wherein the arm includes a telescopic portion operable to adjustably move the bassinet in a horizontal plane toward or away from the upright segments.

4 . The baby crib according to claim 3 , wherein each of the upright segments includes a latch operable to lock one associated telescopic portion in position, and unlock for adjustment of the associated telescopic portion.

5 . The baby crib according to claim 2 , wherein the bassinet is vertically spaced apart from the base via a gap.

6 . The baby crib according to claim 2 , wherein the base includes a plurality of tubular elements and wheels assembled in a generally horizontal plane, the tubular elements being mounted together to form an approximately rectangular shape, the wheels being provided at a plurality of corners of the base, and the upright segments having lower ends connected with two corners of the base.

7 . The baby crib according to claim 1 , wherein the bassinet includes a bottom board and an enclosure, the enclosure having a lower end connected with a peripheral region of the bottom board to define an inner space of the bassinet, wherein the side opening is formed through a front of the enclosure, and the cover element is operable to move relative to the enclosure to cover or uncover the side opening.

8 . The baby crib according to claim 7 , wherein the cover element includes a rotary flap made of a rigid material pivotally connected with the bottom board.

9 . The baby crib according to claim 1 , wherein the support frame includes two parallel upright segments, a base and two parallel guide rails, the upright segments having upper ends respectively connected with the guide rails and lower ends connected with the base, the guide rails and the base extending at a same side of the upright segments, and the bassinet being movably assembled with the guide rails.

10 . The baby crib according to claim 8 , wherein each of the guide rails includes a latch operable to lock the bassinet in position relative to the guide rails, and unlock to allow the bassinet to move along the guide rails.

11 . The baby crib according to claim 1 , wherein the support frame includes two parallel upright segments, two upper fixture elements, and two fixed bases, the upright segments having upper ends respectively connected with the upper fixture elements and lower ends respectively connected with the bases, the bassinet being affixed with the upper fixture elements.

12 . The baby crib according to claim 7 , wherein the enclosure has an upper end provided with a hand rest rail, the cover element is a curtain made of a flexible material that is upwardly connected with the hand rest rail, the curtain being operable to roll up toward the hand rest rail and held in a rolled state via a fastener element to uncover the side opening, and the curtain further being operable to unroll and deploy downward to cover the side opening.

13 . The baby crib according to claim 7 , wherein the cover element includes a movable door that is operable to slide along at least one guide rail to uncover and cover the side opening.

14 . The baby crib according to claim 7 , wherein the cover element is a collapsible door made of a flexible material adapted to unfold and stretch out to cover the side opening, and fold and collapse to uncover the side opening.

15 . The baby crib according to claim 7 , wherein the enclosure has an upper end provided with a hand rest rail, and the cover element is a rotary flap pivotally connected with the hand rest rail and operable to rotate either upward or downward to respectively uncover and cover the side opening, and the bottom board being movable along at least a guide rail to extend outward through the side opening.

16 . The baby crib according to claim 7 , wherein the cover element is a rotary flap pivotally connected with the bottom board, the bottom board is operable to slide with the rotary flap along a guide rail to either extend outward through the side opening or retract inward in the bassinet, and the rotary flap is operable to rotate between a first position erected upward from the bottom board to cover the side opening while the bottom board is placed in the bassinet, and a second position substantially in a same plane as the bottom board.

17 . The baby crib according to claim 7 , wherein the cover element is a shutter door pivotally connected with an outer side of the enclosure, and two opposite edges of the bottom board are connected with guide rails along which the bottom board is movable to extend outward through the side opening and retract inward into the bassinet, the shutter door being operable to rotate downward to cover the side opening, rotate upward to uncover the side opening.
