Abstract
The test probe assembly of the invention is used for an electric meter such as a multimeter or the like. The electric meter has a main body. The test probe assembly includes a pair of insulated rods, a pair of probe tips and a pair of leads. The insulated rods are separately provided with two corresponding engaging portions, so that the insulated rods can be combined or detached. One end of each probe tip is fixed in one of the insulated rods and the other ends are protrudent. The leads connect between the insulated rods and main body. The combination or detachment of the test probe assembly may form a variety of configurations for different measured objects.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A sectional test probe assembly for an electric meter having a main body, comprising:
a pair of insulated rods, being separately provided with two corresponding engaging portions for being combined or detached with each other; a pair of probe tips, one end of each probe tip being fixed in one of the insulated rods and the other ends being protrudent; and a pair of leads, connecting between the insulated rods and the main body.
2 . The test probe assembly of claim 1 , wherein the insulated rods are made of flexible material.
3 . The test probe assembly of claim 2 , wherein the insulated rods are made of rubber.
4 . The test probe assembly of claim 1 , wherein the engaging portions are a protrusion and a recess.
5 . The test probe assembly of claim 4 , wherein the protrusion and the recess are with teeth.
6 . The test probe assembly of claim 1 , wherein the engaging portions are a rail and a slot.
7 . The test probe assembly of claim 6 , further comprising a positioning hole and a positioning point formed in the slot and the rail, respectively.
8 . The test probe assembly of claim 1 , wherein one of the insulated rods is integratedly formed on the main body.
9 . The test probe assembly of claim 1 , wherein the probe tips are made of conductive material.
10 . The test probe assembly of claim 1 , further comprising a pair of crocodile clips mounted on the probe tips.
11 . The test probe assembly of claim 1 , wherein each of the crocodile clips is provided with a receiving hole for being embedded by the probe tips.Cited by (0)
