Abstract
Certain embodiments of the present invention provide a system for predictive notification including a notification engine adapted to receive a sequence of data values for a parameter from a medical device. The notification engine is adapted to determine a prediction based at least in part on the sequence of data values. The notification engine is adapted to generate a notification based on the prediction.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A system for predictive notification, the system comprising:
at least one processor comprising: a notification engine adapted to receive a sequence of data values for a parameter from a medical device and a sequence of messages from a clinical application, wherein the notification engine is adapted to determine a prediction based at least in part on the sequence of data values and the sequence of messages, and wherein the notification engine is adapted to generate a notification based on the prediction and a user-defined setting.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the user-defined setting comprises a user-defined alert level.
3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the user-defined setting comprises a user-specific role.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the user-defined setting comprises a procedure type.
5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the user-defined setting comprises an anesthesia type.
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the user-defined setting comprises a medical device type.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the notification engine is adapted to generate a notification based on a combination of the prediction, the user-defined setting, and clinical data.
8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the notification engine is adapted to receive a second sequence of data values for a second parameter.
9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein each data value in the sequence is associated with a timestamp.
10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the prediction is based on a determination of a trend in the sequence.
11 . A method for predictive notification, the method comprising:
receiving, using a processor, a sequence of data values for a parameter from a medical device and receiving a sequence of messages from a clinical application; determining, using a processor, a prediction based at least in part on the sequence of data values and the sequence of messages; and generating, using a processor, a notification based on the prediction and a user-defined setting.
12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the user-defined setting comprises a user-defined alert level.
13 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the user-defined setting comprises a user-specific role.
14 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the user-defined setting comprises a procedure type.
15 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the user-defined setting comprises an anesthesia type.
16 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the user-defined setting comprises a medical device type.
17 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the notification engine is adapted to generate a notification based on a combination of the prediction, the user-defined setting, and clinical data.
18 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the notification engine is adapted to receive a second sequence of data values for a second parameter.
19 . The system of claim 11 , wherein each data value in the sequence is associated with a timestamp.
20 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the prediction is based on a determination of a trend in the sequence.
21 . A tangible computer-readable storage medium including a set of instructions for execution on a computer, the set of instructions, when executed, configuring at least one processor to implement:
a notification engine adapted to receive a sequence of data values for a parameter from a medical device and a sequence of messages from a clinical application, wherein the notification engine is adapted to determine a prediction based at least in part on the sequence of data values and the sequence of messages, and wherein the notification engine is adapted to generate a notification based on the prediction and a user-defined setting.
22 . The tangible computer-readable storage medium of claim 21 , wherein the user-defined setting comprises at least one of a user-defined alert level, a user-specific role, a procedure type, an anesthesia type, and a medical device type.Cited by (0)
