Abstract

The modifications to the ball allow the ball to be tethered to a control rope with snap fittings. The rod or tube rod permit the ball to rotate when hit and prevent the twisting of the control rope which keeps the ball under control.

1 . A ball with a rod or rod in tube that passes centrally through the ball with a connection on the rod end for the attachment of a rope. 
     
     
         2 . A ball with a rod that passes centrally through the ball with a connector on one end of the rod for the attachment of a rope. 
     
     
         3 . A rod or rod in a tube passing centrally through a ball with a connector at one end of the rod for the attachment of a rope and stop at the other end to secure the rod to the ball. 
     
     
         4 . A rod in a tube passing centrally through a ball with a connector at one end of the rod for the attachment of a rope and a stop at the other end to secure the rod to the ball. 
     
     
         5 . A rod passing through a ball with a loop in the rod at one end for the attachment of a rope and a loop at the other end to secure the rod to the ball.
