Abstract
The present invention relates to an antibody binding to human intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) where the antibody is able to modulate the differentiation status of dendritic cells and prolong the graft survival. In addition, the present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising the antibody, and method of using them for the treatment of disease.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An antibody that competes with an antibody produced by a hybridoma deposited as an accession number of KCLRF-BP-00198 for binding to domain 1 of human intercellular adhesion molecules-1 (ICAM-1).
2 . An antibody that binds to domain 1 of human ICAM-1 without inhibiting the binding of human ICAM-1 to human leukocyte function antigen-1 (LFA-1).
3 . The antibody according to claim 1 , wherein the antibody is in isolated form.
4 . The antibody according to claim 1 , wherein the antibody is chimeric antibody or humanized antibody.
5 . The antibody according to claim 1 , wherein the antibody is a monoclonal antibody.
6 . The antibody according to claim 1 , wherein the antibody modulates the differentiation of dendritic cells via binding ICAM-1.
7 . A pharmaceutical composition comprising the antibody of claim 1 .
8 . The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 7 , wherein the antibody is in isolated form.
9 . The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 7 , wherein the antibody is chimeric antibody or humanized antibody.
10 . The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 7 , wherein the antibody is a monoclonal antibody.
11 . A pharmaceutical composition for modulating the differentiation of dendritic cells via binding ICAM-1, comprising the antibody of claim 1 .
12 . A pharmaceutical composition for suppressing rejection of transplanted cells or organs, or suppressing graft versus host disease by transplanted hematotoietic cells, comprising the antibody of claim 1 .Cited by (0)
