Abstract

An information processing device including a communication interface that exchanges data with a first device and a second device; and a processor that performs authentication of the first device; receives content data from the first device via the communication interface; and controls the communication interface to send the content data in real time to the second device based on an access control setting, which indicates a restriction on sending the content data.

1 . An information processing device, comprising:
 a communication interface that exchanges data with a first device and a second device; and   a processor that
 performs authentication of the first device; 
 receives content data from the first device via the communication interface; and 
 controls the communication interface to send the content data in real time to the second device based on an access control setting, which indicates a restriction on sending the content data. 
   
     
     
         2 . The information processing device of  claim 1 , wherein the access control setting is configured to be set to one of a first level indicating that the content data may be openly sent to the second device and a second level indicating that the content data may be sent to the second device only when identification information corresponding to the second device matches identification information received from the first device. 
     
     
         3 . The information processing device of  claim 1 , wherein the processor receives, from the first device via the communication interface, time information indicating a length of time that the first device transmits the content data. 
     
     
         4 . The information processing apparatus of  claim 3 , wherein the processor determines a monetary charge to be applied to a user based on the time information. 
     
     
         5 . The information processing apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the processor receives, from the first device via the communication interface, bandwidth setting information for sending the content data. 
     
     
         6 . An information processing device recited in  claim 1 , wherein the processor controls the communication interface to send information indicating the access control setting to the second user device. 
     
     
         7 . An information processing device comprising;
 a communication interface that exchanges data with a server; and   a processor that
 controls the communication interface to send authentication information to the server, 
 sets an access control level indicating a restriction on sending the contents data; and 
 controls the communication interface to stream contents data in real time to the server upon completion of authentication with the server. 
   
     
     
         8 . The information processing device of  claim 7 , wherein the access control setting is configured to be set to one of a first level indicating that the content data may be openly sent from the server to a device connected to the server and a second level indicating that the content data may be sent to a device connected to the server only when identification information corresponding to the device connected to the server matches identification information sent to the server from the information processing device. 
     
     
         9 . The information processing device of  claim 7 , wherein the processor controls the communication interface to send time information indicating a length of time that the information processing device transmits the content data to the server. 
     
     
         10 . The information processing device of  claim 9 , wherein the server determines a monetary charge to be applied to a user based on the time information. 
     
     
         11 . The information processing device of  claim 7 , wherein the processor controls the communication interface to send, to the server, bandwidth setting information for sending the content data to the server. 
     
     
         12 . The information processing device of  claim 7 , wherein the processor controls the communication interface to send, to the server, email addresses corresponding to devices connected to the server that are authorized to access the content data, and access information that allows the devices connected to the server to access the content data. 
     
     
         13 . The information processing device of  claim 7 , wherein the processor controls a display to display a configuration image to add an effect to the content data sent to the server. 
     
     
         14 . The information processing device of  claim 7 , further comprising:
 a main body portion having a keyboard,   a display portion having a display screen; and   a coupling portion that rotatably couples the main body portion and the display portion between a closed state and an open state or between the open state and the closed state, wherein   in the closed state, the display screen is exposed and the keyboard is not exposed,   in the open state, the information processing device is operable as a clam shell personal computer.   
     
     
         15 . The information processing device of  claim 14 , wherein the processor controls the communication interface to send the content data to the server in both the open state and the closed state. 
     
     
         16 . The information processing device of  claim 7 , wherein the information processing device is a mobile phone with camera function. 
     
     
         17 . An information processing method performed by an information processing apparatus, the method comprising:
 performing, by a processor of the information processing apparatus, authentication with the a first device via a communication interface of the information processing apparatus;   receiving, at the communication interface, content data from the first device; and   streaming, by the communication interface, the content data in real time to a second device based on an access control setting, which indicates a restriction on streaming the content data to the second device.   
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 17 , wherein the access control setting is configured to be set to one of a first level indicating that the content data may be openly streamed to the second device and a second level indicating that the content data may be streamed to the second device only when identification information corresponding to the second device matches identification information received from the first device. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 17 , further comprising:
 receiving, from the first device via the communication interface, time information indicating a length of time that the first device transmits the content data.   
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 19 , further comprising:
 determining, by the processor, a monetary charge to be applied to a user based on the time information.   
     
     
         21 . The method of  claim 17 , further comprising:
 receiving, from the first device via the communication interface, bandwidth setting information for streaming the content data.   
     
     
         22 . The method of  claim 17 , further comprising:
 sending, by the communication interface, information indicating the access control setting to the second user device.   
     
     
         23 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium including computer program instructions, which when executed by an information processing device, cause the information processing device to perform a method comprising:
 sending authentication information corresponding to the information processing apparatus to a server via a communication interface;   setting an access control level indicating a restriction on sending content data from the server; and   streaming, in real time, the content data to the server upon completion of authentication with the server.   
     
     
         24 . The computer-readable medium of  claim 23 , wherein the access control setting is configured to be set to one of a first level indicating that the content data may be openly sent from the server to a device connected to the server and a second level indicating that the content data may be sent to a device connected to the server only when identification information corresponding to the device connected to the server matches identification information sent to the server from the information processing device. 
     
     
         25 . The computer-readable medium of  claim 23 , further comprising:
 sending, to the server, time information indicating a length of time that the content data is to be streamed to the server.   
     
     
         26 . The computer-readable medium of  claim 25 , wherein the server determines a monetary charge to be applied to a user based on the time information. 
     
     
         27 . The computer-readable medium of  claim 23 , further comprising:
 sending, to the server, bandwidth setting information for sending the content data to the server.   
     
     
         28 . The computer-readable medium of  claim 23 , further comprising:
 sending, to the sever, email addresses corresponding to devices connected to the server that are authorized to access the content data, and access information that allows the devices connected to the server to access the content data.   
     
     
         29 . The computer-readable medium of  claim 23 , further comprising:
 displaying, on a display of the information processing device, a configuration image to add an effect to the content data streamed to the server.   
     
     
         30 . An information processing system comprising:
 a server including
 a first communication interface that exchanges data with a first device and a second device; and 
 a processor that performs authentication of the first device;
 receives content data from the first device via the first communication interface; and 
 controls the first communication interface to send the content data in real time to the second device based on an access control setting, which indicates a restriction on sending the content data; and 
 
   the first device including
 a second communication interface that exchanges data with a server; and 
 a processor that
 controls the second communication interface to send authentication information to the server, 
 sets an access control level indicating a restriction on sending the contents data; and 
 controls the second communication interface to stream contents data in real time to the server upon completion of authentication with the server.
