Abstract
The present invention is directed to a portable display device. The display device comprises at least two panel housings for receiving display elements, respectively, means for foldable connecting the panel housings, a connection cable for connecting the circuits of the display elements provided at the panel housings and a cover for covering the connection cable not to be exposed. Accordingly, the flexible and weak connection cable may be protected.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 12 . (canceled)
13 . A portable display device comprising:
at least two panel housings for receiving display elements, a connection cable for connecting the circuits of the display elements provided at the panel housings, and a border of a sidewall of the panel housings or a protecting member for protecting a side of a border of the display elements, wherein, the two panel housings being connected to be folded and unfolded, and when the panel housings being unfolded, the two display elements being adjacent to each other, the border of the sidewall of the panel housings for protecting the side of the display elements being thinner than the other parts of the panel housings, or being less than 1 mm in thickness, the protecting member being also less than 1 mm in thickness, and a opening through which the connection cable moves being formed in the panel housings.
14 . The portable display device of claim 13 , wherein when the panel housings are folded, the side of the display elements is covered.
15 . A portable display device comprising:
at least two panel housings for receiving display elements, a connection cable for connecting the circuits of the display elements provided at the panel housings, and a border of a sidewall of the panel housings or a protecting member for protecting a side of a border of the display elements, wherein, the two panel housings being connected to be folded and unfolded, and when the panel housings being unfolded, the two display elements being adjacent to each other, the border of the sidewall of the panel housings for protecting the side of the display elements being thinner than the other parts of the panel housings, or being less than 1 mm in thickness, and the protecting member being also less than 1 mm in thickness, when connection axes for allowing the panel housings to be folded and unfolded being equipped, and the connection cable passes through a point where the side of connection axes meet with the panel housing.
16 . The portable display device of claim 15 , wherein when the panel housings are folded, the side of the display elements is covered.
17 . The portable display device of claim 15 , wherein the protecting member covers the upper end of the display elements and the side of the display elements.
18 . The portable display device of claim 17 , wherein the optical member is disposed on the upper sidewall of the panel housings of a part in which the panel housings are connected.
19 . The portable display device of claim 17 , the display elements are arranged on the mount or the chassis, and the side of the mount or the chassis is opened or is less than 0.5 mm in thickness in the part where the display elements are connected together.
20 . The portable display device of claim 13 , wherein the protecting member covers the upper end of the display elements and the side of the display elements.
21 . The portable display device of claim 13 , the optical member is disposed on the upper sidewall of the panel housings of a part in which the panel housings are connected.
22 . The portable display device of claim 13 , the display elements are arranged on the mount or the chassis, and the side of the mount or the chassis is opened or is less than 0.5 mm in thickness in the part where the display elements are connected together.Cited by (0)
