Organic electroluminescence device
Abstract
A material for an organic electroluminescence device having the formula: wherein Ar 1 and Ar 3 each independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group, X 5 represents a substituted or unsubstituted naphthyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted phenanthryl group, X 6 represents a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, and X 7 and X 8 each independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted terphenyl group. An organic electroluminescence device having (i) a light emitting layer, or (ii) a plurality of thin films of organic compounds having a light emitting layer, disposed between a pair of electrodes, wherein at least one of the thin films of organic compounds is a layer containing the material having the formula above.

13 . A material for an organic electroluminescence device represented by formula [10]:
wherein Ar 1 and Ar 3 each independently represents a substituted and unsubstituted phenylene group, X 5 represents a substituted or unsubstituted naphthyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted phenanthryl group, X 6 represents a substituted and unsubstituted phenyl group, X 7 and X 8 each independently represents a substituted and unsubstituted biphenyl group or a substituted and unsubstituted terphenyl group.
14 . The material for an organic electroluminescence device according to claim 13 , wherein X 5 represents a substituted or unsubstituted naphthyl group, X 6 represents a substituted and unsubstituted phenyl group, X 7 and X 8 each independently represents a substituted and unsubstituted biphenyl group.
15 . An organic electroluminescence device which comprises a light emitting layer or a plurality of thin films of organic compounds comprising a light emitting layer disposed between a pair of electrodes, wherein at least one of the thin films of organic compounds is a layer comprising the material for an organic electroluminescence device described in claim 13 or 14 .
16 . An organic electroluminescence device which comprises a light emitting layer or a plurality of thin films of organic compounds comprising a light emitting layer disposed between a pair of electrodes, wherein at least one of the thin films of organic compounds comprising the material for an organic electroluminescence device described in claims 13 or 14 , as a hole injecting material or a hole transporting material is disposed between the pair of electrodes.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
