Abstract
The erasion level appending range of a file is instructed. According to this instruction, the erasion level is set. When this setting range does not agree with the cell unit of the current cell, the current cell is divided to set a sequence of divided cells. Playback management information of each of the divided cells and current cell is re-created, and erasion level information is appended to playback management information of the divided cell that belongs to the appending range.

A non-transitory computer-readable information medium or a non-transitory computer-associated-machine-readable information medium configured to have data recorded thereon by a computer-associated recording apparatus and/or data reproduced therefrom by a computer-associated reproducing apparatus, the data including management information and object information, wherein
the object information comprises a digital stream carried by data packets, and the management information comprises time map information showing a relation between a time point and a position of the digital stream.

A method of recording object information on an information recording medium configured to have data recorded thereon by a computer-associated recording apparatus and/or data reproduced therefrom by a computer-associated reproducing apparatus, the data including management information and object information, wherein the object information comprises a digital stream carried by data packets, and the management information comprises time map information showing a relation between a time point and a position of the digital stream,
the method comprising: generating the object information; recording the generated object information on the medium by a recorder; generating the management information; and recording the generated management information on the medium by the recorder.

A method of reproducing object information from an information recording medium configured to have data recorded thereon by a computer-associated recording apparatus and/or data reproduced therefrom by a computer-associated reproducing apparatus, the data including management information and object information, wherein the object information comprises a digital stream carried by data packets, and the management information comprises time map information showing a relation between a time point and a position of the digital stream,
the method comprising: reproducing the management information from the medium by a player; and reproducing the object information from the medium by the player, based on the reproduced management information.
5 . A recording apparatus for recording information on the information recording medium as defined in claim 2 , the apparatus comprising:
a first generator configured to generate the object information; a first recorder configured to record the generated the object information on the medium; a second generator configured to generate the management information; and a second recorder configured to record the generated management information on the medium.
6 . A reproducing apparatus for reproducing information from the information recording medium as defined in claim 2 , the apparatus comprising:
a first reproducer configured to reproduce the management information from the medium; and a second reproducer configured to reproduce the object information from the medium based on the reproduced management information.Cited by (0)
