Abstract
An optical disk player includes a main body, a disk tray, and a cover. The main body includes a top surface with a receiving recess defined thereon. The disk tray is received in the receiving recess for reading data written on an optical disk. The cover is configured for covering the receiving recess of the main body. A ring-shaped groove is formed on the top surface of the main body surrounding the receiving recess, and a protrusion is formed on an inner surface of the cover facing the main body, the protrusion is capable of being inserted into the groove when the cover is closed on the top surface of the main body.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An optical disk player comprising:
a main body comprising a top surface with a receiving recess defined thereon; a disk tray received in the receiving recess for reading data written on an optical disk; and a cover for covering the receiving recess of the main body, wherein either of a ring-shaped protrusion and a ring-shaped groove is formed on the top surface of the main body surrounding the receiving recess, and the other one of the ring-shaped protrusion and the ring-shaped groove is formed on an inner surface of the cover facing the main body, the protrusion is capable of being inserted into the groove when the cover is closed on the top surface of the main body to cover the receiving recess of the main body.
2 . The optical disk player as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the optical disk player is a DVD player, a CD player, or a VCD player.
3 . The optical disk player as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the receiving recess is circular.
4 . The optical disk player as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the cover is pivotably connected to the main body.
5 . The optical disk player as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the protrusion is in tight contact with an inner wall of the groove.
6 . The optical disk player as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the cover comprises a transparent portion spatially corresponding to the receiving recess of the main body.
7 . The optical disk player as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the top surface of the main body has a low-lying area for placing the cover when the cover is closed, and an outer surface of the cover facing away from the main body is at the same level as that of the top surface of the main body when the cover is attached to the low-lying area.
8 . The optical disk player as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the optical disk player further comprises a soft filler received in the groove for improving sealing property of the receiving recess.
9 . The optical disk player of claim 8 , wherein the soft filler is made of sponge.
10 . The optical disk player of claim 1 , wherein the ring-shaped groove is defined on the top surface of the main body surrounding the receiving recess, and the ring-shaped protrusion is formed on the inner surface of the cover.Cited by (0)
