Abstract

A protective glove includes a coating of dehydrated material on its inside surface. The dehydrated material, in contact with perspiration from a hand wearing the glove, soothes the hand. Some methods of placing the coating onto the inside surface of the glove include spraying or dipping with a solution that includes Aloe Vera.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method of manufacturing an article for protecting a hand, the method comprising the acts of:
forming a disposable glove that is fluid impermeable; coating an interior surface of the glove with a skin anti-inflammatory substance and a liquid carrier; and removing the liquid carrier while on the glove to form a dehydrated non-powdered dry coating of skin anti-inflammatory substance attached to the interior surface of the glove, wherein the skin anti-inflammatory substance having an affiliation with the interior surface of the glove through a non-covalent force provided by the removing of the liquid carrier, so that the skin anti-inflammatory substance contacts the hand of a person during wearing the glove, the dry coating dissociable from the interior surface by absorbing moisture from perspiration during wearing forming a moistened skin anti-inflammatory substance.

2 . The method of claim 1 wherein the disposable glove is made from a natural rubber latex.

3 . The method of claim 1 wherein the disposable glove is formed as a single-layer glove.

4 . The method of claim 1 wherein the liquid carrier is water.

5 . The method of claim 1 wherein the coating step comprises spraying the skin anti-inflammatory substance and the liquid carrier onto the interior surface.

6 . The method of claim 1 wherein the interior surface of the glove is treated with chlorine prior to coating the interior surface with a skin anti-inflammatory substance and a liquid carrier.

7 . The method of claim 1 wherein the removing step comprises evaporating the liquid carrier from the interior surface of the glove.

8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising the step of turning the glove right side out, so that the dehydrated dry coating of skin anti-inflammatory substance contacts the hand of a person when wearing the glove.

9 . A method of manufacturing an article for protecting a hand, the method comprising the acts of:
forming a disposable glove that is fluid-impermeable; applying an aqueous solution of a skin anti-inflammatory substance to an interior surface of the glove; and removing the liquid from the aqueous solution on the glove to form a dehydrated non-powdered dry coating of skin anti-inflammatory substance attached to the interior surface of the glove, so that the skin anti-inflammatory substance contacts the hand of a person when wearing the glove, and wherein the act of removing the liquid providing a non-covalent force of affiliation between the skin anti-inflammatory substance and the interior surface of the glove.
