Image processing apparatus and image processing method for the same

Abstract

An image processing apparatus for using one of a device link profile and a set of a source profile and an output profile includes a first selection unit for selecting a set of a source profile and an output profile and second selection unit for selecting a device link profile. In the image processing apparatus, the device link profile and the set of a source profile and an output profile are exclusively selected such that only one of the device link profile and the set of a source profile and an output profile is selected at a time.

1 . A processing method comprising:
 displaying, on a display of a processing apparatus, a name of a source profile used for creating a device link profile;   displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, a rendering intent used for creating the device link profile; and   displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, names of device link profiles including the device link profile created by the source profile and the rendering intent.   
     
     
         2 . The processing method according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, a name of an output profile used for creating the device link profile.   
     
     
         3 . A processing method comprising:
 displaying, on a display of a processing apparatus, names of device link profiles;   instructing a display of properties of a device link profile displayed by a display unit;   displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, a name of a source profile used for creating the instructed device link profile;   displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, a rendering intent used for creating the instructed device link profile.   
     
     
         4 . The processing method according to  claim 3 , further comprising;
 displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, a name of an output profile used for creating the instructed device link profile.   
     
     
         5 . The processing apparatus according to  claim 3 , wherein said source profile is a CMYK simulation profile. 
     
     
         6 . A non-transitory computer readable medium having stored thereon a program for controlling a display of a processing apparatus, the computer readable medium comprising program code for performing a method comprising:
 displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, a name of a source profile used for creating a device link profile;   displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, a rendering intent used for creating the device link profile; and   displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, names of device link profiles including the device link profile created by the source profile and the rendering intent.   
     
     
         7 . The non-transitory computer readable medium according to  claim 6 , wherein the method further comprises:
 displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, a name of an output profile used for creating the device link profile.   
     
     
         8 . A non-transitory computer readable medium having stored thereon a program for controlling a display of a processing apparatus, the computer readable medium comprising program code for performing a method comprising:
 displaying, on a display of a processing apparatus, names of device link profiles;   instructing a display of properties of a device link profile displayed by a display unit;   displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, a name of a source profile used for creating the instructed device link profile;   displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, a rendering intent used for creating the instructed device link profile.   
     
     
         9 . The non-transitory computer readable medium according to  claim 8 , wherein the method further comprises:
 displaying, on the display of the processing apparatus, a name of an output profile used for creating the instructed device link profile.   
     
     
         10 . The non-transitory computer readable medium according to  claim 8 , wherein said source profile is a CMYK simulation profile.
