Hand-held exercise apparatus

Abstract

A hand-held exercise apparatus is provided. The hand-held exercise apparatus includes a body portion having a bar to allow a user to grip the apparatus, and a housing portion configured to sit atop of the body portion to receive a weight portion, wherein the weight portion is removable.

1 . A multi-functional hand-held exercise apparatus, comprising:
 a weighted portion having a top side and bottom side and configured to cover a portion of a user's hand and wrist, the weighted portion having a predetermined amount of weight distributed thereabout and configured with a detachable rotatable disc on one side and another detachable rotatable disc on a side adjacent to the one side; and   a bar shaped handle that extends across a portion of the bottom side to allow the user's hand to grip the apparatus.   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the weighted portion is removable. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the weighted portion sits atop of a dorsal of the user's hand. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the weight portion is configured with a mass aligned axially with a center of the user's hand and distributed over an area of the user's curled hand and distal wrist. 
     
     
         5 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the detachable disc features a ring or hook attachment. 
     
     
         6 . A hand-held exercise apparatus, comprising:
 a body portion having a bar to allow a user to grip the apparatus;   a housing portion configured to sit atop of the body portion to receive a weight portion, wherein the weight portion is removable.
