a protective cover; and a booklight secured to the protective cover, wherein the protective cover includes:
a first cover having an interior and an exterior surface;
a second cover having an interior and an exterior surface;
a coupling between the first cover and the second cover, wherein the first cover and the second cover are pivotable with respect each other about the coupling; a mounting device for securing the eReader to the interior surface of one of the first cover and the second cover; and a pocket integrally formed into one of the first cover and the second cover; and wherein the booklight includes:
a base; and
a light assembly housing coupled to the base and having a light source, wherein at least a portion of the booklight is pivotable between a stored position and an open position in which at least the light assembly housing of the booklight is away from the protective cover such that the booklight is positioned to light the eReader.
48 . The cover assembly of claim 47 , wherein at least a portion of the pocket is located adjacent to an upper end of the interior surface of the one of the first cover and the second cover.
49 . The cover assembly of claim 47 , wherein the booklight comprises a neck coupled between the base and the light assembly housing.
50 . The cover assembly of claim 47 , wherein the first cover and the second cover are each of a size configured to cover a majority of a surface of the eReader.
51 . The cover assembly of claim 49 , wherein the neck is a manipulatable neck.
52 . The cover assembly of claim 47 , wherein the pocket comprises a recess integrally formed into one of the first cover and the second cover.
53 . The cover assembly of claim 52 , wherein at least a portion of the booklight is positioned within the recess when the booklight is in the stored position.
54 . The cover assembly of claim 52 , wherein the recess extends in a direction that is perpendicular with respect to a direction in which the coupling extends.
55 . The cover assembly of claim 47 , further comprising a battery operatively coupled to the booklight.
56 . A cover assembly comprising:
a first cover and a second cover, each including,
an exterior surface, and
an interior surface,
wherein the interior surface of at least one of the first and second covers includes a recess integrally formed therein,
a coupling around which the interior surfaces of the first and second covers are pivotable; and a light assembly at least a portion of which is movably coupled with respect to the interior surface of one of the first and second covers, the light assembly including,
a base coupled to one of the first and second covers, and
a light housing coupled to the base and including a light adapted to light at least a portion of the interior surface of one of the first and second covers when in a lighting position,
wherein the light has at least a first position and a second position with respect to the interior surface of one of the first and second covers, and in the first position, the light housing is in a stored position and at least a portion of the light assembly is positioned within the recess, and in the second position, the light housing is in the lighting position.
57 . The cover assembly of claim 56 , wherein the recess forms at least a portion of a pocket integrally formed into one of the first and second covers.
58 . The cover assembly of claim 56 , wherein the recess forms at least a portion of a pocket extending in a direction away from the coupling.
59 . The cover assembly of claim 56 , wherein the recess forms at least a portion of a pocket having two opposing surfaces at an angle with respect to the coupling.
60 . The cover assembly of claim 56 , wherein the recess forms at least a portion of a pocket integrally formed into one of the first and second covers and disposed in a direction away from the coupling, the pocket being formed with two opposing surfaces at an angle with respect to the coupling.
61 . The cover assembly of claim 56 , wherein the light includes a light emitting diode.
62 . The cover assembly of claim 56 , wherein at least a portion of the recess is located adjacent to an upper end of the interior surface of the one of the first cover and the second cover.
63 . The cover assembly of claim 56 , wherein the light assembly comprises a neck coupled between the base and the light housing.
64 . The cover assembly of claim 63 , wherein the neck is an elongate neck.
65 . The cover assembly of claim 56 , wherein an eReader is secured to the interior surface of at least one of the first and second covers, and the first cover and the second cover are each of a size configured to cover a majority of a surface of the eReader.
66 . The cover assembly of claim 56 , wherein the recess extends in a direction that is perpendicular with respect to a direction in which the coupling extends.
67 . The cover assembly of claim 56 , further comprising a battery operatively coupled to the light assembly.
