Claims

Abstract

A partition system may include one or more panels. A panel may be constructed using blow-molded plastic. A panel may include one or more depressions, which may be aligned with one or more depressions on an opposing side of the panel. The depressions may provide additional structural integrity for a panel. The depressions on opposing sides of the panel may extend toward and engage each other. The panels may include patterns with which one or more depressions may intersect. The panels may include symmetric patterns on opposing sides. The partition system may include one or more connectors adapted to receive a portion of one or more panels. The partition system may include one or more feet that may be attached to one or more panels. The panels may include one or more reinforcing members of various shapes disposed proximate one or more edges of a panel.

1 . A structure constructed from blow-molded plastic comprising:
 a first outer wall with a generally planar configuration;   a second outer wall spaced apart from the first outer wall;   a hollow interior portion disposed between the first outer wall and the second outer wall;   a pattern disposed in the first outer wall, the pattern, the first outer wall, the second outer wall and the hollow interior portion being integrally formed as part of a unitary, one-piece construction during a blow-molding process, the pattern comprising:
 a plurality of grooves disposed in the first outer wall, each groove of the plurality of grooves having an outer surface that is generally spaced apart from the second outer wall by a gap; and 
 a plurality of depressions at least substantially disposed in each groove of the plurality of grooves; 
 wherein the plurality of grooves and the plurality of depressions are generally uniformly spaced to create a structure within generally uniform strength and structural integrity. 
   
     
     
         2 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein each groove of the plurality of grooves is generally disposed parallel to an axis; and each groove of the plurality of grooves is spaced apart from an adjacent groove by a generally constant distance. 
     
     
         3 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein each groove of the plurality of grooves is disposed in a generally straight line;
 wherein the plurality of grooves and the plurality of depressions are disposed in a generally uniform configuration; and   wherein the pattern has a generally symmetrical configuration.   
     
     
         4 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein the pattern covers substantially the entire first outer wall of the structure with a first groove disposed proximate a first side of the structure, a second groove disposed proximate a second side of the structure, and at least two or more grooves disposed between the first and second grooves. 
     
     
         5 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein the grooves of the plurality of grooves are disposed in two or more generally aligned columns and two or more generally aligned rows. 
     
     
         6 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 5 , wherein a depression of the plurality of depressions is disposed at an intersection of a column and a row. 
     
     
         7 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the plurality of grooves is generally aligned parallel relative to a central axis of the structure. 
     
     
         8 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein at least substantially all of the depressions of the plurality of depressions contact an inner surface of the second outer wall. 
     
     
         9 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the plurality of grooves are aligned along a length of the structure; and
 wherein each of the grooves aligned along the length of the structure have a length that is generally equal to or greater than a majority of the length of the structure.   
     
     
         10 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of grooves are disposed in a plurality of columns that extend substantially an entire length of the structure and a plurality of rows that extend substantially an entire width of the structure. 
     
     
         11 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , further comprising a boarder that is disposed proximate and spaced inwardly from at least two sides of the structure; and
 wherein the pattern is at least substantially disposed within the boarder.   
     
     
         12 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of grooves and the plurality of depressions form a plurality of shaped portions, each shaped portion of the plurality of shaped portions aligned with at least one other shaped portion. 
     
     
         13 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein the second outer wall has a generally planar configuration and is spaced apart from the first outer wall by a generally constant distance; and
 wherein the first outer wall and the second outer wall are disposed in generally parallel planes.   
     
     
         14 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of grooves comprises at least six grooves in a first direction and at least six grooves in a second direction; and
 wherein at least six depressions are at least substantially disposed in each groove in the first direction and at least six depressions are at least substantially disposed in each groove in the second direction.   
     
     
         15 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein a first groove of the plurality of grooves is disposed proximate a first side of the structure;
 wherein a second groove of the plurality of grooves is disposed proximate a second side of the structure;   wherein at least six depressions of the plurality of depressions are at least substantially disposed in the first groove; and   wherein at least six depressions of the plurality of depressions are at least substantially disposed in the second groove.   
     
     
         16 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein the pattern is disposed within a boarder that is spaced inwardly from a perimeter of the structure; and
 wherein the pattern substantially covers the first outer wall of the structure.   
     
     
         17 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein each depression disposed in each groove is spaced apart from an adjacent depression by a generally constant distance. 
     
     
         18 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein each depression disposed in each groove is closely spaced to an adjacent depression in the groove. 
     
     
         19 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein each depression disposed in each groove is closely spaced to an adjacent depression in the groove; and
 wherein each depression in each groove is closely spaced to an adjacent depression in an adjacent groove.   
     
     
         20 . The blow-molded plastic structure as in  claim 1 , wherein a depression of the plurality of depressions is disposed at an intersection of two or more grooves of the plurality of grooves.
