Portable locking support structure

Abstract

An assembled portable structure having a plurality of platform members arranged to form a continuous surface. The platform members are attached to each other along one or more surfaces and are capable of being disassembled into smaller components. A plurality of primary support members are detachably engaged to at least a portion of the plurality of the platform members. A plurality of secondary support members are detachably engaged to at least one primary support member of the plurality of the primary support members and at least one of the platform members of the plurality of platform members. The number of primary support members detachably engaged to at least a portion of the plurality of the platform members is less than four for each platform member.

1 . An assembled portable structure, comprising:
 a plurality of platform members arranged to form a continuous surface, the platform members being attached to each other along one or more surfaces and being capable of being disassembled into smaller components;   a plurality of primary support members detachably engaged to at least a portion of the plurality of the platform members; and   a plurality of secondary support members detachably engaged to at least one primary support member of the plurality of the primary support members and at least one of the platform members of the plurality of platform members;   wherein the number of primary support members detachably engaged to at least a portion of the plurality of the platform members is less than four for each platform member.   
     
     
         2 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 1 , wherein the smaller components may each include a single platform member having at least one associated primary support member and at least one secondary support member. 
     
     
         3 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 2 , wherein at least one smaller component consists of less than three primary support members. 
     
     
         4 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 3 , wherein at least one smaller component consists of a single primary support member. 
     
     
         5 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 1 , wherein the smaller components have a size and geometry to store or transport. 
     
     
         6 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 1 , wherein the secondary support members are detachably engaged at least one end with a secondary platform connector. 
     
     
         7 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 1 , wherein the secondary platform connector includes a connector post portion, and a retention portion, the secondary support member being engaged by directing the secondary support member over a connector post portion to rotate and lock the secondary support member in position with the retention portion. 
     
     
         8 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 9 , wherein the secondary platform connector is capable of being engaged and disengaged from the platform member and the primary support member without tools. 
     
     
         9 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 1 , wherein the secondary support member can detachably engage the primary support member and platform member without tools. 
     
     
         10 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 1 , wherein an assembler of the assembled portable structure may position and lock the secondary support member while remaining in a standing position. 
     
     
         11 . An assembled portable structure, comprising:
 a plurality of platform members arranged to form a continuous surface, the platform members being attached to each other along one or more surfaces and being capable of being disassembled into smaller components, each of the platform members having four primary platform connectors;   a plurality of primary support members detachably engaged to at least a portion of the primary platform connectors, the number of primary support members being less than the number of primary platform connectors; and   a plurality of secondary support members detachably engaged to at least one primary support member of the plurality of the primary support members and at least one of the platform members of the plurality of platform members.   
     
     
         12 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 11 , wherein the platform member further comprises at least four secondary platform connectors. 
     
     
         13 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 12 , wherein one primary platform connector, two primary platform connectors or three primary platform connectors, but not four, of the four primary platform connectors of each platform member are detachably engaged to a primary support member. 
     
     
         14 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 11 , wherein the smaller components may each include a single platform member having at least one associated primary support member and at least one secondary support member. 
     
     
         15 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 14 , wherein at least one smaller component consists of less than three primary support members. 
     
     
         16 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 15 , wherein at least one smaller component consists of a single primary support member. 
     
     
         17 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 11 , wherein the smaller components have a size and geometry to store or transport. 
     
     
         18 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 11 , wherein the secondary support members are detachably engaged at at least one end with a secondary platform connector. 
     
     
         19 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 11 , wherein the secondary platform connector includes a connector post portion, and a retention portion, the secondary support member being engaged by directing the secondary support member over a connector post portion to rotate and lock the secondary support member in position with the retention portion. 
     
     
         20 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 19 , wherein the secondary platform connector is capable of being engaged and disengaged from the platform member and the primary support member without tools. 
     
     
         21 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 11 , wherein the secondary support member can detachably engage the primary support member and platform member without tools. 
     
     
         22 . The assembled portable structure of  claim 11 , wherein an assembler of the assembled portable structure may position and lock the secondary support member while remaining in a standing position. 
     
     
         23 . An assembled portable structure, comprising:
 a plurality of platform members arranged to form a continuous surface, the platform members being attached to each other along one or more surfaces and being capable of being disassembled into smaller components, each of the platform members having four primary platform connectors;   a plurality of primary support members detachably engaged to at least a portion of the plurality of the primary platform connectors; and   a plurality of secondary support members detachably engaged to at least one primary support member of the plurality of the primary support members and at least one of the platform members of the plurality of platform members;   wherein at least two primary platform connectors of adjacent attached platform members are adjacent one another and a primary support is detachably engaged to only one of the adjacent primary platform connectors.
