Abstract

An exerciser includes a base having a first frame and a second frame which is pivotably connected to the first frame, and a slide device. The first and second frames are arranged to have an angle therebetween. The slide device has a damper and a roller is connected to the slide rod so as to move on the second frame. The users put the base on the floor to use the exerciser as a pull-up exerciser. The users can also overlap the first and second frames and put the first and second frames on the floor to use as an abdominal exerciser. The damper generates different resistance to obtain different exercising levels.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An exerciser comprising:
a base having a first frame and a second frame which has a pivotal end pivotably connected to the first frame, the first and second frames adapted to stand on floor and an angle defined between the first and second frames, the second frame having a free end located in opposite to the pivotal end, a first grip portion and a bar located at the pivotal end; a slide device having a slide rod and a damper, the slide rod having a second grip portion extending from two ends thereof, a roller connected to a lower end of the slide rod, the slide rod slidably movable along the second frame, when using as an abdominal exerciser, the first and second frames are overlapped to each other and the second frame faces upward, the damper has a first end fixed to the free end of the second frame, a second end of the damper trains a pulley on the pivotal end and is fixed to a fixing member on the slide rod, when using as an abdominal exerciser, a user holds the second grip portion on the slide rod and the user's knees contact against the bar on the pivotal end to move the slide rod, when using as a pull-up exerciser, the first and second frames stand on the floor with an angle defined between the first and second frames, the two ends of the damper are fixed to the free end and the pivotal end respectively, a user holds the first grip portion and the user's knees contact against the slide rod to pull user's body upward while the slide rod slides.

2 . The exerciser as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the slide device comprises an installation rod which is parallel to the slide rod and a first distance is defined between the installation rod and the slide rod, the first distance is adapted to accommodate the user's knees.

3 . The exerciser as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the slide rod and the installation rod are wrapped with soft material.

4 . The exerciser as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the installation rod is disengaged from the second frame and connected to the pivotal end, a second distance is defined between the installation rod on the pivotal end and the bar, the second distance is adapted to accommodate the user's knees.

5 . The exerciser as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the bar is wrapped with soft material.

6 . The exerciser as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first frame is a retractable frame.

7 . The exerciser as claimed in claim 1 , wherein an adjustment member is connected to the pivotal position between the first and second frames so as to adjust the angle between the first and second frames.

8 . The exerciser as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the adjustment member comprises a semi-circular disk with multiple holes and a pin extends through one of the holes to fix the angle between the first and second frames.
