Abstract
There is described a heat shield element comprising a hot side which is turned towards the hot medium, a cold side which is turned away from the hot medium, peripheral sides which connect the hot side to the cold side and a material volume which is defined by the hot side, the cold side and the peripheral sides, wherein the material volume comprises at least two material areas which are made of different materials. The materials are different from each other at least in respect of their resistance and/or thermal expansion coefficient. A mold to make the heat shield element is also provided.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A mold to make a ceramic heat-shield element, comprising:
a single-piece mold shell with a plurality of mold surfaces and a pouring-in aperture in at least one of the mold surfaces.
2 . The mold as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the mold shell has mold surfaces to mold a first large-area surface, a second large-area surface, and peripheral surfaces smaller than the first and second large-area surface, wherein the peripheral surfaces extend from the first large-area surface to the second large-area surface, and wherein the pouring-in aperture is in the surface for molding the peripheral surface.
3 . The mold as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the mold shell consists of a plurality of individual parts connected firmly to one another for a pouring-in process to form a single-piece mold shell.
4 . The mold as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the individual parts are detachable.
5 . The mold as claimed in claim 1 , wherein different areas in the interior of the mold shell are separated from one another via a separating element, and wherein the separating element is removable from the interior of the mold shell before a curing of the poured-in ceramic material and without opening the mold shell.
6 . The mold as claimed in claim 5 , wherein at least one separating element is an insert for inserting into the mold shell through the pouring-in aperture.
7 . The mold as claimed in claim 6 , wherein the insert divides the interior of the mold shell into a first area facing the mold surface for molding the large-area first surface and a second area facing the mold surface for molding the large-area second surface.
8 . The mold as claimed in claim 6 , wherein two inserts divide the interior of the mold shell into a central area and two areas which face opposing mold surfaces for molding peripheral surfaces.
9 . The mold as claimed in claim 1 , wherein at least one retaining element in the interior of the mold shell fixes a body in position in the interior of the mold shell, and wherein the retaining element is removeable from the interior of the mold shell before the curing of the poured-in ceramic material without opening the mold shell.
10 . The mold as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the retaining element is a retaining pin, and wherein the retaining pin is moveable into and out of the interior of the mold shell from the exterior of the mold shell.
11 . The mold as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the retaining pins are arranged in the mold surface for molding the first large-area surface or the second large-area surface.Cited by (0)
