Abstract
A system and a method for switching between a plurality of sets of objects, each mapped by a hierarchical structure, are provided. Relationships of the objects are presented in a tree structure. A transition point may be used to switch between the individual different trees which represent different inter-relationships of the objects.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . System for a graphical presentation of a plurality of subsets from a set of objects,
wherein objects of a subset are presented in a hierarchical relationship to each other, wherein at least one object is provided in at least two subsets and is embodied as a transition point between the at least two subset, and wherein an identification is provided as to the membership of the at least one object forming the transition point in the at least two subsets.
2 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein a presentation of relevant hierarchical relationships of the objects to each other is provided in the form of a tree structure.
3 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein signs identify memberships of the objects in each subset.
4 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein a user of the system switches between the presentations of the subsets by activating an object embodied as a transition point.
5 . The system according to claim 4 , wherein, when switching between the presentations of the subsets, an already selected object remains selected.
6 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein a user of the system switches between the presentations of the subsets by using a tab bar in order to select a tree representing another subset.
7 . The system according to claim 6 ,
wherein a switch between the presentations of the subsets is such that an already selected object remains selected if the object is contained in a new subset or a next transition point of the new subset lying on a path to a root is selected if an already selected object is not present in the new subset.
8 . A method for a graphical presentation of a plurality of subsets from a set of objects, comprising:
displaying objects of a subset in a hierarchical relationship to each other, providing at least one object in at least two subsets and forming a transition point between the at least two subsets, and indicating a membership of the at least one object forming the transition point between the at least two subsets.
9 . The method according to claim 8 , wherein the hierarchical relationship of the objects are displayed in a tree structure.
10 . The method according to claim 8 , further comprising:
providing signs for identifying memberships of the objects in each subset.
11 . The method according to claim 8 , further comprising:
switching between presentations of the subsets by activating an object embodied as a transition point.
12 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein an already selected object remains selected when switching between the presentations of the subsets.
13 . The method according to claim 8 , further comprising:
switching between presentations of the subsets by selecting a tree representing another subset using a tab bar.
14 . The method according to claim 13 ,
wherein, when switching between the presentations of the subsets, an object already selected remains selected if it is included in a new subset or a next transition point of the new subset lying on the path to the root is selected if the already selected object is not present in the new subset.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
