Abstract
A modular furniture frame assembly includes a seat frame member and a top-mounted frame member. The seat frame member has a top side formed with a set of spaced apart slots. The top-mounted frame member is removably disposed on the top side of the seat frame member. The top-mounted frame member has a set of spaced apart fastening components that are fastened to the top-mounted frame member, that extend downwardly, removably and respectively through corresponding ones of the slots in the seat frame member, and that are fastened removably to the seat frame member.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A modular furniture frame assembly comprising:
a seat frame member having a top side formed with a set of spaced apart slots; and a top-mounted frame member removably disposed on said top side of said seat frame member, said top-mounted frame member having a set of spaced apart fastening components fastened to said top-mounted frame member, extended downwardly, removably and respectively through corresponding ones of said slots in said seat frame member, and fastened removably to said seat frame member.
2 . The modular furniture frame assembly as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of said fastening components includes:
an upper leaf fastened to said top-mounted frame member; a lower leaf pivotally connected to said upper leaf, extended downwardly and removably through a respective one of said slots in said seat frame member, and formed with a plurality of through holes; and a plurality of fasteners extended through said through holes to fasten removably said lower leaf to said seat frame member.
3 . The modular furniture frame assembly as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said top-mounted frame member includes a spaced apart pair of upright frame parts having confronting inner surfaces, said inner surface of each of said upright frame parts having said upper leaf of a respective one of said fastening components fastened thereto.
4 . The modular furniture frame assembly as claimed in claim 3 , wherein said seat frame member includes:
a pair of first frame parts disposed opposite to each other; a pair of second frame parts disposed opposite to each other, each of said second frame parts interconnecting corresponding ends of said first frame parts; and a supporting beam interconnecting said first frame parts and being disposed between said second frame parts.
5 . The modular furniture frame assembly as claimed in claim 4 , wherein said lower leaf of one of said fastening components of said top-mounted frame member is fastened removably to one of said first frame parts, and said lower leaf of another one of said fastening components of said top-mounted frame member is fastened removably to said supporting beam.
6 . The modular furniture frame assembly as claimed in claim 5 , further comprising another top-mounted frame member removably disposed on said top side of said seat frame member, fastened removably to one of said first frame parts and said supporting beam of said seat frame member, and disposed side by side with said top-mounted frame member.
7 . The modular furniture frame assembly as claimed in claim 5 , further comprising another top-mounted frame member removably disposed on said topside of said seat frame member, fastened removably to said first frame parts of said seat frame member, and disposed to form an angle with said top-mounted frame member.
8 . The modular furniture frame assembly as claimed in claim 4 , wherein said lower leaf of each of said fastening components of said top-mounted frame member is fastened removably to a respective one of said first frame parts.
9 . The modular furniture frame assembly as claimed in claim 4 , further comprising a side-mounted frame member fastened removably to one of said second frame parts of said seat frame member.Cited by (0)
