Abstract

A method of treating a cancer selected from the group consisting of breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, medulloblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, liposarcoma, multiple myeloma or leukemia. An effective amount of 5-(4-(6-(4-amino-3,5-dimethyl-phenoxy)-1-methyl-1H-benzimidazol-2-ylmethoxy)-benzyl)-thiazolidine-2,4-dione.dihydrochloride is administered to a patient having said cancer.

A method of treating a cancer selected from the group consisting of breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, medulloblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, liposarcoma, multiple myeloma or leukemia, comprising administering an effective amount of 5-(4-(6-(4-amino-3,5-dimethyl-phenoxy)-1-methyl-1H-benzimidazol-2-ylmethoxy)-benzyl)-thiazolidine-2,4-dione.dihydrochloride to a patient having said cancer. 
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein said cancer is liposarcoma.
