23 . A computer-network system implemented by an online stationery or card service, comprising:
a computer server configured to enable a display of a design layout for a stationery or card on a web user interface, wherein the design layout includes a text region, wherein the design layout includes a signature region configured to incorporate a signature image comprising a signature of a user; and a personalization engine configured to produce a stationery or card design in accordance to the design layout that incorporates the signature image.

24 . The computer-network system of claim 23 , wherein the computer server is configured to allow the signature image to be uploaded to the server over a computer network.

25 . The computer-network system of claim 24 , wherein the computer server is configured to generate a dialog box at the web user interface to allow the user to identify the signature image on a computer device.

         26 . The computer-network system of claim 23 , further comprising:
a computer storage in communication with the computer server, wherein the computer storage is configured to store the signature image to be incorporated in the design layout.

27 . The computer-network system of claim 23 , wherein the computer server is configured to provide, on the web user interface, a link that is configured to be activated by the user to allow the user to retrieve the signature image.

28 . The computer-network system of claim 23 , wherein the text region is configured to display a text message from the user.

29 . The computer-network system of claim 23 , wherein the design layout includes an image region configured to incorporate an image selected by or received from the user.

30 . The computer-network system of claim 23 , wherein the computer server is configured to receive a date related to delivery of the personalized card or stationery to a recipient and is configured to enable a display of the date at a date field at the web user interface.

         31 . The computer-network system of claim 30 , further comprising:
a scheduling module to schedule delivery of the personalized card or stationery according to the date in the date field.

32 . The computer-network system of claim 23 , wherein the web user interface comprises:
an envelope design region comprising a graphical layout corresponding to a paper envelope to be used to mail the personalized card or stationery, the envelope design region comprising:
a return address region comprising one or more text boxes for entering a return address of the user; and
an address region comprising one or more text boxes for entering the address of a recipient.

33 . The computer-network system of claim 23 , wherein the personalization engine is configured to provide a set of personalization options related to the design layout, to receive a selection of one or more of the personalization options from the user, and to generate the stationery or card design based on the selection of the user.

         34 . The computer-network system of claim 23 , further comprising:
a stationery or card contacts module to store relationship data specifying a relationship between the user and one or more of contacts of the user; and a stationery or card calendar module to automatically generate stationery or card calendar events based on the relationship data.

35 . The computer-network system of claim 34 , wherein the stationery or card calendar events include milestones associated with the one or more of contacts of the user.

36 . The computer-network system of claim 35 , wherein the milestones comprises a birth date of one of the one or more of contacts.

37 . The computer-network system of claim 35 , wherein the milestones comprises a wedding anniversary of one of the one or more of contacts.

38 . A computer-network system implemented by an online stationery or card service, comprising:
a computer server configured to enable a display of a design layout for a stationery or card on a web user interface, wherein the design layout comprises a text field configured to receive text from a user; a database configured to store a personal seal of the user for personalizing the stationery or card on a web user interface, wherein the computer server is configured to allow the user to incorporate the personal seal in association with the text field in the design layout; and a personalization engine configured to produce a stationery or card design in accordance to the design layout that incorporates the personal seal.

39 . The computer-network system of claim 38 , wherein the design layout comprises a photo region configured to receive a photo selected by the user, wherein the computer server is configured to allow the user to incorporate the personal seal in association with the photo region in the design layout.
