Abstract
A camera body includes an imaging unit operable to generate image data by capturing an object image, a display unit operable to display an image based on the image data, and a controller operable to control the display unit. While the interchangeable lens is being demounted from the camera body, the controller controls the display unit to prohibit displaying the image based on the image data, and when the interchangeable lens is completely demounted from the camera body, the display unit displays the image.

an imaging unit operable to generate image data by capturing an object image; a display unit operable to display an image based on the image data; and a controller operable to control the display unit, wherein, the controller controls the display unit to prohibit the live view function such that the display unit does not display the image based on the image data generated by the imaging unit while the interchangeable lens is being demounted from the camera body and the display unit displays the image when the interchangeable lens is completely demounted from the camera body
2 . The camera body according to claim 1 further comprising
a first connection unit operable to detect whether the camera body connects electrically connects to the interchangeable lens; and
a second connection unit operable to detect whether the camera body connects mechanically connects to the interchangeable lens,
wherein the controller determines whether the interchangeable lens is being or completely demounted from the camera body based on signals from the first and second connection units.
3 . A camera system comprising:
a camera body having a live view function for displaying a through image in real time; and an interchangeable lens mountable to the camera body, wherein the camera body includes: an imaging unit operable to generate image data by capturing an object image; a display unit operable to display an image based on the image data; and a controller operable to control the display unit, wherein the controller controls the display unit to prohibit the live view function such that the display unit does not display the image based on the image data generated by the imaging unit while the interchangeable lens is being demounted from the camera body and the display unit displays the image when the interchangeable lens is completely demounted from the camera body.
4 . The camera system according to claim 3 , wherein
the camera body further includes a first connection unit operable to detect whether the camera body connects electrically connects to the interchangeable lens, and a second connection unit operable to detect whether the camera body connects mechanically connects to the interchangeable lens, and the controller determines whether the interchangeable lens is being or completely demounted from the camera body based on signals from the first and second connection units.
5 . A camera body to which an interchangeable lens is mountable and having a live view function for displaying a through image in real time, comprising:
an imaging unit operable to generate image data by capturing an object image; a display unit operable to display an image based on the image data; and a controller operable to control the display unit, wherein, the controller controls the display unit to prohibit the live view function such that the display unit does not display the image based on the image data generated by the imaging unit while the interchangeable lens is being mounted to the camera body and the display unit displays the image when the interchangeable lens is completely mounted to the camera body.
6 . The camera body according to claim 5 further comprising
a first connection unit operable to detect whether the camera body connects electrically connects to the interchangeable lens, and
a second connection unit operable to detect whether the camera body connects mechanically connects to the interchangeable lens,
wherein the controller determines whether the interchangeable lens is being or completely mounted to the camera body based on signals from the first and second connection units.
7 . A camera system comprising:
a camera body having a live view function for displaying a through image in real time, and an interchangeable lens mountable to the camera body; wherein the camera body includes:
an imaging unit operable to generate image data by capturing an object image;
a display unit operable to display an image based on the image data; and
a controller operable to control the display unit, and
the controller controls the display unit to prohibit the live view function such that the display unit does not display the image based on the image data generated by the imaging unit while the interchangeable lens is being mounted to the camera body and the display unit displays the image when the interchangeable lens is completely mounted to the camera body.
8 . The camera system according to claim 7 , wherein
the camera body further includes a first connection unit operable to detect whether the camera body connects electrically connects to the interchangeable lens, and a second connection unit operable to detect whether the camera body connects mechanically connects to the interchangeable lens, and the controller determines whether the interchangeable lens is being or completely mounted to the camera body based on signals from the first and second connection units.Cited by (0)
