Abstract
The invention provides methods, nucleic acids and kits for detecting metastasis of colon cell proliferative disorders. The invention discloses genomic sequences the methylation patterns of which have utility for the improved detection of metastasis of colon cell proliferative disorders, thereby enabling the improved diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An isolated nucleic acid molecule for the detection of metastasis of colon cell proliferative disorders comprising a sequence at least 18 bases in length selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOS: 9, 10, 17, and 18.
2 . An isolated oligomer for the detection of metastasis of colon cell proliferative disorders, wherein the oligomer comprising at least one base sequence having a length of at least 10 nucleotides which hybridizes to or is identical to one of the nucleic acid sequences selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOS: 9, 10, 17, and 18.
3 . A kit comprising a bisulfite reagent and at least one oligomer comprising at least one base sequence having a length of at least 10 nucleotides which hybridizes to or is identical to a nucleic acid sequences selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO: 9, 10, 17, and 18.
4 . The oligomer of claim 2 , wherein the oligomer is an oligonucleotide or peptide nucleic acid (PNA)-oligomer.Cited by (0)
