Abstract
A tool assembly 10 having a plurality of wheels 22, 24, 26 , and 28 which allow the assembly 10 to be easily transported from place to place, and a second portion 80 which may be easily removed from a first and fixed operative position to any desired location.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 ) A portable tool storage assembly comprising a bottom portion including a generally flat base; a plurality of wheels which are attached to and which are operatively disposed upon said generally flat base; a plurality of pillars which are attached to said generally flat base and which extend from said generally flat base in a direction opposite said plurality of wheels and wherein said plurality of pillars cooperates with said flat base to form a storage cavity; a drawer assembly which is disposed upon said plurality of pillars and which overlays said generally flat base, wherein said drawer assembly includes a plurality of stacked drawers wherein each of said drawers are parallel to said storage cavity; and a top portion which rests upon said drawer assembly and which provides at a second storage cavity which resides above said drawer assembly and wherein said top portion rests upon one of said plurality of drawers and wherein said tool storage assembly further includes a first generally elliptically shaped member which is attached to said one of said plurality of drawers and which protrudes from said one of said plurality of drawers in a first direction, said member having opposed sides which are coupled to said one of said plurality of drawers and which cooperate with said one of said plurality of drawers to bound and form a hollow interior portion, wherein said portable tool storage assembly further includes a second member having a rectangular shape and a hollow interior, wherein said second member is coupled to said top portion and wherein said second member has a pair of opposed sides which each terminate into opposed ends of an edge portion and which cooperate with said edge portion and said top portion to bound and form said hollow interior of said second member and wherein said first member selectively traverses and resides within and which partially protrudes from said hollow interior of said second member; and a lock which is selectively and removably coupled to said first member to secure said first member within said hollow interior of second member, thereby selectively securing the top portion upon said one of said plurality of drawers and allowing said first member to be selectively removed from said hollow interior of said second member upon removal of said lock and wherein said top portion is only coupled to said drawer assembly by use of said first and second members.
2 ) The portable tool storage assembly of claim 1 wherein top portion includes a flat base having four opposed sides; four walls which are each respectively coupled to a unique one of said four opposed sides, wherein only two of said four opposed walls have a substantially identical height; and a top which is coupled to one of said four opposed walls and which selectively and removably abuts all but said one of said four opposed walls.
3 ) The portable tool storage assembly of claim 2 wherein said top is hingedly coupled to said one of said four opposed walls.
4 ) The portable tool storage assembly of claim 3 further comprising a handle member upon each of said two of said four opposed walls.
5 ) The portable tool storage assembly of claim 4 further comprising a plurality of door members and wherein each of said door members is attached to a unique pair of said pillars.
6 ) The portable tool storage assembly of claim 5 wherein said portable tool storage assembly is manufactured form stainless steel.
7 ) The portable tool storage assembly of claim 6 wherein said top portion comprises a hutch.Cited by (0)
