Fragrance Emitting Apparatus For Use With USB Port
Abstract
A fragrance emitting apparatus for connection to a USB port. The fragrance emitting apparatus has a casing having an interior and a fragrance bottle removably disposed within the interior of the casing. The fragrance bottle contains a liquid that provides a desired fragrance. The fragrance bottle has a fragrance member that has a first portion within the fragrance bottle, a second portion extending from the fragrance bottle and is configured to absorb liquid in the fragrance bottle. A micro-pump device is positioned within the interior of the casing and has an oscillating member that contacts the second portion of the fragrance member. A control circuit controls generates an electrical wave signal to cause the oscillating member to vibrate so as to diffuse fragrance liquid that contacts the oscillating member so as to produce a fragrance. The fragrance exits a vent in the casing.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A fragrance emitting apparatus for connection to a USB port, comprising:
a casing having an interior and at least one vent in communication with the interior; a door pivotally attached to the casing to provide access to the interior; a fragrance bottle removably disposed within the interior of the casing and having therein a liquid that provides a desired fragrance, the fragrance bottle further comprising a fragrance member having a first portion within fragrance bottle and a second portion extending from the fragrance bottle, the fragrance member being configured to absorb liquid in the fragrance bottle and emit the desired fragrance when heat is applied thereto; a heating element positioned within the interior of the casing and adjacent to the second portion of the fragrance member, the heating element generating heat when electrical power is applied thereto; a USB connector connected to the casing and electrically connected to the heating element to apply electrical power to the heating element; wherein heat generated by the heating element causes the fragrance member to emit a fragrance that exits the interior of the casing through the at least one vent in the casing.
2 . The fragrance emitting apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the casing has a top section and wherein the door is pivotally attached to the top section.
3 . The fragrance emitting apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the door includes a stopper member that contacts and prevents movement of the fragrance bottle.
4 . The fragrance emitting apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the door includes spring lock means to secure the door in a closed position.
5 . The fragrance emitting apparatus according to claim 1 further comprising a light indicating source mounted to the casing and electrically connected to the USB connector, the light indicating source illuminating when electrical power is applied thereto.
6 . The fragrance emitting apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the casing comprises a top section and a bottom section and wherein the bottom section has an opening therein that functions as window to allow viewing of the interior of the casing without opening the door.Cited by (0)
