System and method for integrating image upload objects with a message list

Abstract

There is disclosed a system and method for integrating an image upload object with a message list. In an embodiment, the method comprises: creating an image upload object for each image to be uploaded; and displaying the image upload object in a message list such that the image upload object may be selected and opened as a message. In another embodiment, the method may further comprise associating with the image upload object at least one of a text description, a thumbnail of the image, a date, and a file link to the uploaded image. In another embodiment, an image upload object in the message list may be configured such that the image upload object may be forwarded to another user as a message, and the associated uploaded image may be accessed by the other user via the file link.

1 . A processor implemented method to send information about a file of an image using a mobile wireless communication device, comprising:
 creating an image upload object for the file, the image upload object including the file and at least one of thumbnail image, a title and a text description, identifying the file; and   sending the image upload object from the mobile communication device.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising configuring the image upload object such that the image upload object may be forwarded. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising capturing the image with a camera on the mobile wireless communication device. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 3 , wherein the image upload object is created after the image is captured. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the image upload object is configured such that the image upload object may be saved. 
     
     
         6 . A processor implemented method to send information about a file of an image using a mobile wireless communication device, comprising:
 uploading the file;   creating an image upload object for the file, the image upload object including a link to the file; and   sending the image upload object from the mobile communication device.   
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 6 , further comprising configuring the image upload object such that the image upload object may be forwarded. 
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 6 , further comprising capturing the image with a camera on the mobile wireless communication device. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein the image upload object is created after the image is captured. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein the image upload object is configured such that the image upload object may be saved. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein the link is a URL link. 
     
     
         12 . A mobile wireless communication device to send information about a file of an image, the mobile wireless communication device comprising a camera, and a processor configured to:
 create an image upload object for the file, the image upload object including the file and at least one of thumbnail image, a title and a text description, identifying the file; and   send the image upload object from the mobile communication device.   
     
     
         13 . The mobile wireless communication device of  claim 12 , wherein the processor is further configured to configure the image upload object such that the image upload object may be forwarded. 
     
     
         14 . The mobile wireless communication device of  claim 12 , wherein the image is captured using the camera. 
     
     
         15 . The mobile wireless communication device of  claim 14 , wherein the image upload object is created after the image is captured. 
     
     
         16 . The mobile wireless communication device of  claim 12 , wherein the processor is further configured to configure the image upload object such that the image upload object may be saved. 
     
     
         17 . A mobile wireless communication device, to send information about a file of an image, the mobile wireless communication device comprising a camera, and a processor configured to:
 upload the file;   create an image upload object for the file, the image upload object including a link to the file; and   send the image upload object from the mobile communication device.   
     
     
         18 . The mobile wireless communication device of  claim 17 , further comprising configuring the image upload object such that the image upload object may be forwarded. 
     
     
         19 . The mobile wireless communication device of  claim 17 , further comprising capturing the image using the camera. 
     
     
         20 . The mobile wireless communication device of  claim 19 , wherein the image upload object is created after the image is captured. 
     
     
         21 . The mobile wireless communication device of  claim 17 , wherein the image upload object is configured such that the image upload object may saved. 
     
     
         22 . The mobile wireless communication device of  claim 17 , wherein the link is a URL link.
