Communication Connectivity Via Context Association, Advertising Sponsorship and Multiple Contact Databases
Abstract
Providing advertising sponsored messaging across multi-providers or multi-groups over a communication network, involving a subscriber database that stores profile listing information for each of targeted subscribers; an advertising center that manages selection of an advertiser and content of an advertisement to accompany a message sent to a targeted subscriber; an advertising database that stores, for each participating advertiser, profile listing information of targeted subscribers and targeted groups of subscribers of interest to the respective advertiser; and a caller network in communication with the above; whereby, upon receiving information from a caller identifying a targeted subscriber and providing content of a message to be sent to the targeted subscriber, the advertising center selects an advertiser, and content of an advertisement that accompanies the message to the targeted subscriber. The advertiser and/or the advertisement can be selected based upon a matching of the profile listing information of targeted subscribers and/or callers.

a subscriber database, the subscriber database storing profile listing information for each of targeted subscribers and targeted groups of subscribers in the community; and an advertising center in communication with the network and an advertising database that stores; for each participating advertiser, profile listing information of targeted subscribers and targeted groups of subscribers of interest to the respective advertiser; the advertising center also managing selection of an advertiser, and content of an advertisement, to accompany a message sent to a targeted subscriber or group of advertisers;
the method comprising the steps of:
receiving from a caller information identifying a targeted subscriber or group of subscribers and content of a message to be sent to the targeted subscriber or group of subscribers; selecting an advertiser, and content of an advertisement to accompany the message, based upon a matching of the profile listing information of targeted subscribers and targeted groups of subscribers of interest to respective advertisers stored in the advertising database, and the profile listing information of the targeted subscribers and groups of targeted subscribers stored in the subscriber database.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein profile listing information includes characteristics of geography, type of industry, and type of individual, for each targeted subscriber.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the advertisement is sponsored by the advertiser, rendering the communication connection free for the caller and the targeted subscriber or group of subscribers.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the advertisement includes a link to the advertiser, the link providing the targeted subscriber or group of subscribers or caller with communication connectivity to the advertiser.
5 . The method of claim 5 , wherein communication connectivity to the advertiser is provided without requiring that contact information of the targeted subscriber or group of subscribers be released to the caller, to the advertising center, or to the advertiser.
6 . The method of claim 4 , wherein communication connectivity to the advertiser allows the targeted subscriber or group of subscribers or caller to request information, or to acquire goods or services, from the advertiser.

The method of claim 4 , wherein the targeted subscriber or group of subscribers or caller can acquire goods or services from the advertiser without requiring that financial information of the targeted subscriber or group of subscribers be released to the caller, to the advertising center, or to the advertiser.
8 . A system for providing advertising sponsored messaging across multi-providers or multi-groups over a communication network, the system including:
a subscriber database, the subscriber database storing profile listing information for each of targeted subscribers and targeted groups of subscribers; an advertising center in communication with the network and an advertising database that stores, for each participating advertiser, profile listing information of targeted subscribers and targeted groups of subscribers of interest to the respective advertiser; the advertising center also managing selection of an advertiser, and content of an advertisement, to accompany a message sent to a targeted subscriber or group of advertisers; and a caller network in communication with the subscriber database, the advertising center and the advertising database; whereby, upon receiving information from a caller identifying a targeted subscriber or group of subscribers, and providing content of a message to be sent to the targeted subscriber or group of subscribers, the advertising center selects an advertiser, and content of an advertisement to accompany the message, wherein the advertiser or the content of the advertisement is selected based upon a matching of the profile listing information of targeted subscribers and targeted groups of subscribers of interest to respective advertisers stored in the advertising database.
9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein profile listing information includes characteristics of geography, type of industry, and type of individual, for each targeted subscriber.

12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the communication connectivity to the advertiser is provided without requiring that contact information of the targeted subscriber or group of subscribers be released to the caller, to the advertising center, or to the advertiser.
13 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the communication connectivity to the advertiser allows the targeted subscriber or group of subscribers or caller to request information, or to acquire goods or services, from the advertiser.

The system of claim 11 , wherein the targeted subscriber or group of subscribers or caller can acquire goods or services from the advertiser without requiring that financial information of the targeted subscriber or group of subscribers be released to the caller, to the advertising center, or to the advertiser.
15 . A system for providing advertising sponsored messaging across multi-providers or multi-groups over a communication network, the system including:
a data center adapted to receive a context for a targeted subscriber as provided by a user, the data center including one or more contextual databases that store a secure identity key for each respective subscriber and at least one context associated with each secure identity key; whereby, in response to a context received, the data center retrieves a matching context and the associated secure identity key from the one or more contextual databases without requiring use or exposure of contact information of the targeted subscriber; and a subscriber network which is in communication with a subscriber database, storing subscriber contact and profile listing information, and with the data center; whereby, in response to receiving the retrieved secure identity key, retrieves from the subscriber database the contact information of the targeted subscriber facilitating a communication connection of the user to the targeted subscriber, the communication connection including a message to the targeted subscriber accompanied by an advertisement, without requiring that the contact information of the targeted subscriber be released to the user or to the data center; and an advertising center in communication with the data center and the subscriber network, the advertising center managing selection of content of the advertisement, wherein the advertisement content is selected based on the profile listing information of the targeted subscriber.

The system of claim 15 , wherein the advertising center also manages selection of an advertiser, wherein the advertiser and the advertisement content are selected based on the profile listing information of the targeted subscriber matched with desired profile listing information provided by participating advertisers.
17 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the advertisement includes a link to an advertiser, the link providing the targeted subscriber with communication connectivity to the advertiser.
18 . The system of claim 17 , wherein communication connectivity to the advertiser is provided without requiring that the targeted subscriber contact information be released to the caller, to the data center, to the advertiser, or to the advertising center.
19 . The system of claim 18 , wherein communication connectivity to the advertiser allows the targeted subscriber to request information, or to acquire goods or services, from the advertiser.
20 . The system of claim 19 , wherein the targeted subscriber acquires goods or services from the advertiser without requiring that financial information of the targeted subscriber be released to the caller, to the data center, to the advertiser, or to the advertising center.
21 . The system of claim 15 , further comprising forwarding of the advertisement to the user upon communication connection.
22 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the advertising center also manages selection of an advertiser, wherein the advertiser and the advertisement content are selected based upon a matching of the profile listing information of the targeted subscriber, a profile listing of the user, and desired profile listing information provided by participating advertisers.

The system of claim 15 , further comprising a user network in communication with the data center, and including a caller database that stores at least one context for a respective targeted subscriber, wherein a request for communication connectivity is received by the data center, from the user network, and includes a context for a targeted subscriber entered by the user into the user's communication device.Cited by (0)
