Kan Pia baccarat

Abstract

Kan Pia Baccarat is a modified baccarat card game using at least one deck or multi decks standard playing card in a live casino game table or electronic device, such as computer, slots machine, video machine, interne, etc., to provide a playing strategy as poker card game and side bets; such as, a two steps wagering method, wagering on engage side bets, five cards poker hand side bets and tie side bet; it provides players a choice to raise the bet or fold the hand.

1 . A method of playing a Kan Pia baccarat card game with multi decks of standard playing cards is playing in a live casino game table or electronic device, such as computer, slots machine, video machine, internet, etc., comprising:
 (a) providing a table layout print with two designed hands said Player position and Banker position, three side bet wagering spots said, Engage bets include total number of burn cards, total number of tie bets, total number of blackjack hand, total number of player hands and total number of banker hands, Tie and 5 cards poker hand, and main wagering spots said Player Hand and Banker Hand which contains Ante wagering spot and additional wagering spots named, even x2 Raise on a live game table or an video machine;   (b) providing a conventional poker card game playing strategy said allowing patron fold the hand and raise the wager and conventional poker hand ranking system with a payout table and traditional baccarat game rules and playing method;   (c) requiring each patron places wager on either Player hand or Banker hand, with or without optional side bet wagers on 5 cards poker hand bet or tie bet before dealer deals any cards; requiring each patron place wager on any Engage Bet before the house dealer burn the cards;   (d) providing a dealing procedure, said requiring dealer deals first card of two initial cards face up to each designed areas, Player hand and Banker hand; then waiting for respond from patrons, fold the hand or raise the bet, then dealing second card of two initial cards face up to each designed areas, Player hand and Banker hand;   (e) providing a traditional baccarat card game rule with conventional poker card game rule, comparing Player hand with the Banker hand using traditional baccarat card game point system and rules and inspect the 5 cards poker hand based on conventional poker hand ranking system to determine win or lose of 5 cards poker side bet;   (f) resolving bets, based on the rules of traditional baccarat to pay or take the wager on Player and Banker bet; engage side bets are pay or take according to the payout table and the final result of the hands;   (g) providing at least one deck or multi-decks of playing cards, wherein each deck of playing cards comprises four suits of cards, each suit including a Two card, a Three card, a Four card, a Five card, a Six card, a Seven card, an Eight card, a Nine card, a Ten card, a Jack card, a Queen card, a King card, and an Ace card;   (h) assigning point values to the cards in the Banker hand and in the Player hand according to traditional Baccarat rules, wherein the Ace through Nine cards having respective point values of 1 through 9, the tens, Jacks, Queens and Kings all having a point value of 0;   (i) permitting each patron the option of placing bets on one or more side bets that include the Engage bets, number of burn cards, number of player hands and number of banker hand, Tie bet and 5 cards poker hand;   (j) determining the point total of the initial two-card Banker hand and the initial two-card Player hand by summing up points of each of the initial two-card Banker hand and the initial two-card Player hand;   (k) dealing additional cards to the Banker hand position and to the Player hand position if necessary according to Baccarat rules;   (l) determining the final point totals of the Banker hand the Player hand according to Baccarat rules wherein if the sum of two or three cards in a hand exceeds 10, only the last Digit (one's place) is used in determining the final point total and 9 is the highest point;   (m) comparing the final point totals of the Banker hand and the Player hand, the hand having the higher point total being the winning hand, an initial two-card having a point total of 9, called a natural 9, is the highest hand, and an initial two-card hand having a point total of 8, also called a natural 8, is the second highest hand;   (n) resolving (collecting) the wager on 5 cards poker side bet when there is no drawing additional card to Player hand or Banker hand needed;   (o) paying-off patrons that placed bets on a winning hand; collecting wager from patrons that placed bets on the lower point total;   (p) resolving the wager on 5 cards poker hand side bet after the Baccarat card game is played in steps (g)-(o);   (q) paying-off patrons that placed side bets on the Tie betting spot when the Player hand and the Banker hand have the same final point totals;   (r) paying-off patrons who wagered on 5 cards poker side bet according to a payout table, or collect the wager when there is no poker hand occur;   (s) paying-off or collect wager from patrons who placed side bets on engage bet when the whole shoe is finished playing;   (t) shuffling at least one deck or multi decks of cards by shuffle machine before dealing the game when the game is playing on a live game table and/or a Video poker baccarat machine stores a signal representation of one or more standard decks of 52 cards that providing a video image of at least four cards and up to six cards randomly dealt to a player depositing a wager into the machine;   
     
     
         2 . The playing method  claim 1 , comprising, Kan Pia baccarat card game using at least one deck and/or multi decks standard playing card is complying the conventional baccarat game rule that require Player stands on 6 and Banker stand on 7;
 when Player hand stands on 6 or 7, Banker hand will always draw on totals of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and stands on 6, 7, 8, and 9;   when Player hand does not have 6, 7, natural 8 or natural 9, and has to draw the third card, Banker hand shall always draw on the totals of 0, 1, or 2, and then follows the rules:   (a) If banker has 3 and player's third card is 8, the banker cannot draw the third card,   (b) If banker has 4 and player's third card is 1, 8, 9, or 0, the banker cannot draw the third card,   (c) If banker has 5 and player's third card is 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, or 0, the banker cannot draw the third card,   (d) If banker has 6 and player's third card is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, or 0, the banker cannot draw the third card;   
     
     
         3 . the playing method  claim 1 , comprising, provides different side bets named, Engage Bets, Tie bet, and 5 cards poker hand bet;
 Engage Bet has four different hands as following,   (a) Number of burn card: it is betting on the total number of cards will be burn before dealer dealing first hand,   (b) Number of Player hand: it is betting on the total number of player hands will be after the whole shoe is finished   (c) Number of Banker hand: it is betting on the total number of banker hands will be after the whole shoe is finished   (d) Number of Tie: it is betting on the total number of tie hands will be after the whole shoe is finished   patrons have to place the bet on a pre-assumed chart before house dealer burn the cards;   Engage bets bonus payout will be 20 to 1 for exactly number, 10 to 1 for one off, 5 to 1 for two off; Tie bet is the tradition side bet of conventional baccarat, pays 8 to 1;   Five cards poker hand bet is betting on the contains of five cards dealt to both Player hand and Banker hand forming a conventional poker hand, said, a pair, two pairs, three of a kind, straight, flush, straight flush, four of a kind, and royal flush; conventional poker hand is always consist five cards;   Royal Flush is Ace, King, Queen, Jack and 10, all of the same suit,   Straight Flush is a straight, 5 cards in order, such as 7-8-9-10-J, are all same suit,   Four of a Kind is four cards of the same rank like four Aces or Four Kings,   Full House is a three of a kind and a pair, such as K-K-K-2-2,   Flush is a hand where all of the cards are the same suit,   Straight—Five cards in rank order, but not of the same suit, it can be any combination of the four suits; for example, 2-3-4-5-6 is a straight,   Three of a Kind is three cards of any rank with the remaining cards, not being a pair,   Two Pair is two distinct pairs of card and a 5th card,   Pair is one pair with three distinct cards. Highest ranking pair wins.   
     
     
         4 . the playing method of  claim 1 , comprising, individual playing cards are ranked from Ace as highest rank, then King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2 is the lowest rank when there is a poker hand formed; 
     
     
         5 . the playing method of  claim 1 , comprising, providing engage bet buttons with number from 2 to 11 for burn cards, and Tie bets buttons from 1 to 20 for tie, total number of banker hand buttons from 1 to 50, and total number player hand buttons from 1 to 50; 
     
     
         6 . the playing method of  claim 1 , comprising, house dealer deal first initial card to Player hand and first initial card to Banker hand, wait for patron's respond to play the hand or fold hand; house dealer will collect the wager from the folding hand before deal the 2 nd  initial card, house dealer then deals the second initial card to Player hand and Banker hand; observing the total point of Player hand and Banker hand, then drawing and deal the third card to Player hand and/or Banker hand based on the rule of baccarat; 
     
     
         7 . the playing method of  claim 1 , comprising, after player hand draw an additional card, the wager on five cards poker hand will be pay or been collect based on the rules of 5 cards poker side bet, when there is no poker hand formed, the wager on five cards poker will lose; 
     
     
         8 . the playing method of  claim 1 , comprising, paying or collecting the wager on Engage bets, such as, total number of tie, total number of banker hand and total number of paler hand, after the last hand was dealt; 
     
     
         9 . the playing method of  claim 1 , comprising, require patron wager on Ante either Banker hand or Player hand in order to participate playing side bets, and place additional wager on Even×2 raise to continue playing the game; patron will lose the wager on ante if he is not placing additional wager on the Even×2 raise;
