Automated multiplayer game table with unique image feed of dealer

Abstract

A method and apparatus are used to simultaneously display a virtual dealer and a dynamic visual background image in connection with a multi-player video platform simulating and effecting play of a casino table card game. The dealer imagery is in the foreground and the background is behind the dealer. The background is either a live video feed from the casino, live feed from another location or event or pre-recorded image sequences. The various videos are keyed or masked and layered together using known video production technology.

1 . An automated wagering gaming event system, comprising:
 a plurality of distinct video displays including a first dealer video display for showing a dealer in a card game and at least a second video display for showing playing cards provided to individual players of the card game; and   at least one processor operably coupled to a plurality of distinct video feeds, wherein the at least one processor is programmed to:
 enable game play of the automated wagering gaming event system; and 
 merge the a plurality of different video images from the plurality of video feeds to form a composite image of the dealer against a background. 
   
     
     
         2 . A method for displaying of gaming information, the method comprising:
 feeding a plurality of distinct video feeds from at least one camera of an automated wagering gaming system during game play; and   merging a plurality of video images from the plurality of distinct video feeds to form a composite image of a dealer of a card game against a background.
