a near field communication antenna; a secure element; and a plug capable of connecting the attachment to an audio jack on a mobile device.

2 . The contactless payment attachment of claim 1 , further comprising an input/output module.

3 . The contactless payment attachment of claim 1 , wherein the secure element comprises at least one computer processor and at least one secure storage module.

4 . The contactless payment attachment of claim 1 , further comprising a mechanical switch to enable functionality.

5 . The contactless payment attachment of claim 1 , further comprising a mechanical button to enable functionality.

6 . The contactless payment attachment of claim 1 , further comprising an audio jack capable of receiving a standard audio plug.

7 . A method for initializing an attachment, comprising the steps of:
receiving a secure element provisioning signal from a trusted service manager; using one or more computer processors, sending at least one provisioning instruction through an audio jack to the attachment; and binding the attachment to at least one device.

8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the at least one provisioning instruction comprises data related to a financial account.

9 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the provisioning comprises sending to the attachment information related to a plurality of credit accounts.

10 . The method of claim 7 , further comprising the step of restricting software functionality on the at least one mobile device if the attachment is disconnected from the device.

11 . The method of claim 7 , wherein binding the attachment to at least one device further comprises binding that attachment to at least two devices.

12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein binding the attachment to at least two devices further comprises binding that attachment to at least two devices selected from the group of cellular phones, personal computers, automobiles, televisions, and home gaming systems.

13 . A method of providing contactless payment, comprising the steps of:
receiving, at a computer processor, a payment initiation instruction from a customer; and using a near field communication antenna, sending payment information to a point of sale device; using one or more computer processors, encoding data related to the payment as audio data; and transmitting the data related to the payment through an audio jack.

14 . The method of claim 13 further comprising the step of receiving a transaction confirmation from the point of sale device.

15 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising the step of presenting additional information about the transaction to the customer.

16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the additional information comprises a information about a consumer product related to the transaction.

17 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising the step of presenting a loan offer to the customer at the time of the transaction.

18 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising the step of utilizing reward or loyalty points to pay for the transaction.

19 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising the step of generating a dynamic card security code at the time of the transaction.

20 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising the step of receiving a payment confirmation.

21 . The method of claim 20 , further comprising the step of encoding a payment confirmation message as an audio signal.

22 . A method of claim 21 , further comprising the step of outputting the encoded payment confirmation message through an audio jack.

23 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising the step of receiving, at a computer processor, an unlock instruction from a user.

24 . A method of providing data exchange, comprising the steps of:
using a near field communication antenna, sending outgoing data to a device; using the near field communication antenna, receiving incoming data from a device; using one or more computer processors, encoding one of the incoming or outgoing data as audio data; and transmitting the audio data through an audio jack.

25 . A method of providing data exchange, comprising the steps of:
using a near field communication antenna, sending at least one piece of data to an RFID tag reader; using one or more computer processors, encoding one or more pieces of data related to the data sent to the RFID tag reader; and transmitting the data through an audio jack.

26 . A method of providing data exchange, comprising the steps of:
using a near field communication antenna, receiving at least one piece of data from an RFID tag; using one or more computer processors, encoding one or more pieces of data related to the data received from the RFID tag reader; and transmitting the data through an audio jack.

27 . A method of providing a contactless transaction, comprising the steps of:
using one or more computer processors, receiving at least one activation signal; transmitting transaction information through a near field communication antenna; and using one or more electronic displays, displaying information to a user about the transaction.
