Temperature-stabilized storage containers for medicinals

Abstract

Systems include integrally sealed medicinal storage containers, including one or more segments of an ultra efficient insulation material, the one or more segments having one or more surface regions, the one or more segments principally defining at least one storage region, and one or more regions of substantially thermally sealed connections between at least one of the one or more surface regions of the one or more segments wherein the one or more regions of substantially thermally sealed connections and the one or more segments form an integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage region.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container, comprising:
 one or more segments of an ultra efficient insulation material, the one or more segments having one or more surface regions, the one or more segments principally defining at least one storage region; and   one or more regions of substantially thermally sealed connections between at least one of the one or more surface regions of the one or more segments wherein the one or more regions of substantially thermally sealed connections and the one or more segments form an integrally thermally scaled medicinal storage region, wherein one or more medicinal units are stored at a temperature between approximately 2° Centigrade and approximately 8° Centigrade within the integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage region.   
     
     
         2 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , wherein the container includes no active cooling units. 
     
     
         3 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , wherein the container contains one or more heat sink units. 
     
     
         4 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , wherein the container contains no heat sink units. 
     
     
         5 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , wherein there are a plurality of substantially thermally sealed medicinal storage regions within the container. 
     
     
         6 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , wherein the ultra efficient insulation material includes:
 at least one superinsulation material.   
     
     
         7 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , wherein the ultra efficient insulation material includes:
 at least one multilayer insulation material.   
     
     
         8 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , wherein the ultra efficient insulation material includes:
 at least two layers of thermal reflective material separated from each other by magnetic suspension.   
     
     
         9 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1  wherein the ultra efficient insulation material includes:
 at least one layer of thermal reflective material; and 
 at least one spacer unit adjacent to the at least one layer of thermal reflective material.

         12 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , comprising:
 at least one layer of nontoxic material on an interior surface of the integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage region.   
     
     
         13 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , comprising:
 at least one layer of material including at least one metal on an interior surface of the integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage region.   
     
     
         14 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 13 , wherein the at least one layer of material including at least one metal includes silver. 
     
     
         15 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , comprising:
 at least one marking indicating a region where the container may be broken open to release stored material within the integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage region.   
     
     
         16 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , comprising:
 one or more temperature indicators.   
     
     
         17 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , comprising:
 one or more sensors.   
     
     
         18 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 17 , wherein the one or more sensors includes at least one:
 sensor of a gaseous pressure within one or more of the at least one storage region, sensor of a mass within one or more of the at least one storage region, sensor of a stored volume within one or more of the at least one storage region, or sensor of an identity of an item within one or more of the at least one storage region.   
     
     
         19 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , comprising:
 one or more communications devices.   
     
     
         20 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 19 , wherein the one or more communications devices includes at least one:
 one or more recording devices, one or more transmission devices, one or more display devices, or one or more receivers.   
     
     
         21 . The integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container of  claim 1 , comprising:
 at least one area within the storage region that is at a higher gaseous pressure than an atmospheric pressure exterior to the container.

         85 . An integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage container, comprising:
 one or more segments of an ultra efficient insulation material, the one or more segments having one or more surface regions, the one or more segments principally defining at least one storage region; and   one or more regions of substantially thermally sealed connections between at east two of the one or more surface regions of the one or more segments, wherein the one or more regions of substantially thermally sealed connections and the one or more segments form an integrally thermally sealed medicinal storage region configured for storage of one or more medicinal units at a temperature between approximately 2° Centigrade and approximately 8° Centigrade.
