Abstract

The present invention describes use of spink6 gene and the encoded protein in the manufacture of an anti-tumor drug. spink6 gene has a nucleotide sequence designated as SEQ ID NO:1, and the protein encoded by spink6 gene has an amino acid sequence designated as SEQ ID NO:2. The protein encoded by spink6 gene and its derivatives can be used as potential drugs for treatment of human diseases caused by dysregulation of the cell cycle control, such as various malignant tumors, cell abnormal proliferation, and the like.
