Hair extension system and method

Abstract

A hair extension includes a hair weft. The hair weft is made of individual strands of human or synthetic hair. Far infrared powder is deposited onto Polyurethane (PU) and/or Keratin adhesive glue and webbing of silk or synthetic lace is incorporated with hair weft to create the human or synthetic hair PU and/or Keratin skin as connection strip(s). A connection strip receives connected ends of the individual strands of human or synthetic hair. A top adhesive strip is disposed on a top side of the connection strip and a bottom adhesive strip is disposed on a bottom side of the connection strip. The top and bottom adhesive strips both have a left side and a right side. The left side of the top adhesive strip and right side of the top adhesive strip are divided by an adhesive parting line.

1 . A hair extension comprising:
 a. a hair weft, wherein the hair weft is made of individual strands of human or synthetic hair;   b. a connection strip receiving connected ends of the individual strands of human or synthetic hair;   c. webbing of silk or synthetic lace is incorporated onto the hair weft to form connection strip(s).   d. a top adhesive strip disposed on a top side of the connection strip and a bottom adhesive strip disposed on a bottom side of the connection strip.   
     
     
         2 . The hair extension of  claim 1 , wherein the top adhesive strip has a left side and a right side, wherein the left side of the top adhesive strip and the right side of the adhesive strip are divided by a top adhesive strip parting line. 
     
     
         3 . The hair extension of  claim 2 , wherein the top adhesive strip further includes a top adhesive strip protective backers, having a left side and a right side, wherein the left side of the top adhesive strip backer covers the left side of the top adhesive strip and right side of the top adhesive strip backer covers the right side of the top adhesive strip. 
     
     
         4 . The hair extension of  claim 1 , wherein the bottom adhesive strip has a left side and a right side, wherein the left side of the bottom adhesive strip and the right side of the bottom adhesive strip are divided by a bottom adhesive strip parting line. 
     
     
         5 . The hair extension of  claim 4 , wherein the bottom adhesive strip further includes a bottom adhesive strip backer having a left side and a right side, wherein the left side of the bottom adhesive strip protective backer covers the left side of the bottom adhesive strip and a right side of the bottom adhesive strip protective backer covers the right side of the bottom adhesive strip. 
     
     
         6 . The hair extension of  claim 1 , wherein far infrared powder is incorporated with PU and/or Keratin glue deposited onto the human or synthetic hair weft. 
     
     
         7 . The hair extension of  claim 1 , wherein the top adhesive strip protective backer and the bottom adhesive strip protective backer are at least partially silicone-based. 
     
     
         8 . The hair extension of  claim 1 , wherein the connection strip is comprised of:
 a. a polyurethane or keratin adhesive; and   b. a webbing of silk or synthetic lace, wherein the webbing of silk or synthetic lace is incorporated between or on top of the strands of human or synthetic hair weft.   
     
     
         9 . The hair extension of  claim 8 , wherein a plurality of coats of polyurethane or keratin adhesive is used to make the connection strip. 
     
     
         10 . The hair extension of  claim 9 , wherein far infrared powder is added to at least one of the plurality of coats of polyurethane or keratin adhesive. 
     
     
         11 . The hair extension of  claim 1 , wherein 3 inches in length and ¼ or ⅓ of an inch width of PU and/or Keratin skin weft extension(s). 
     
     
         12 . A method for applying a hair extension, comprising the steps of:
 a. peeling off at first adhesive protector to expose adhesive on a first side of a hair weft;   b. parting the hair at a desired application area;   c. applying the first side of the hair weft to hair below the part approximately ⅛ of an inch from a wearer's scalp;   d. peeling off a second adhesive protector to expose adhesive on a second side of the hair weft; and   e. applying hair from approximately ¼ of an inch above the part onto the adhesive on the second side of the hair weft to secure the hair extension to a wearer's hair on each side of the hair weft.   
     
     
         13 . The method for applying a hair extension of  claim 11 , further comprising the steps of:
 a. forming a bottom section of hair partings; and   b. forming a second section of hair partings above the top section of hair partings   
     
     
         14 . The method for applying a hair extension of  claim 12 , further comprising the steps of:
 a. forming a third section of hair partings above the second section of hair partings.   The method for applying a hair extension of  claim 13 , further comprising the step of:   b. forming a fourth section of hair partings above the third section of hair partings.   
     
     
         15 . The method for applying a hair extension of  claim 13 , further comprising the step of: forming a fifth section of hair partings above the fourth section of hair partings. 
     
     
         16 . The method for applying a hair extension of  claim 14 , further comprising the step of: forming a sixth section of hair partings above the fifth section of hair partings. 
     
     
         17 . The method for applying a hair extension of  claim 15 , further comprising the step of forming a seventh section of hair partings above the sixth section of hair partings. 
     
     
         18 . The method for applying a hair extension of  claim 11 , further comprising the step of attaching a hair extension item to cornrows, dreadlocks, toupees or wigs using the application of adhesive strips.
