Abstract

A container for storing wipes is disclosed. The container for storing wipes includes a container base including a front wall, a back wall, a top wall, and a bottom wall defining an interior cavity for storage of a stack of wipes. The container includes a dispensing panel having a dispensing partition formed therethrough. Within the interior cavity of the container, a support portion is positioned for support of the bottom of the stack of wipes. The support portion forms a support portion angle between about 100 and about 115 degrees with the bottom wall. A container designed as described places the wipes stack in a vertical position thus reducing the footprint should the dispenser be placed on a toilet tank or countertop. Furthermore, the wipes being placed in a vertical position allows for more versatile and durable wall-mounting options while providing adequate dispensing performance.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A container for storing wipes comprising:
a container base including a front wall, a back wall, a top wall, and a bottom wall defining an interior cavity for storage of a stack of wipes; a dispensing panel including a dispensing partition formed therethrough; a support portion positioned within the interior cavity of the container for support of the bottom of the stack of wipes; wherein the support portion forms a support portion angle between about 100 and about 115 degrees relative to the bottom wall.

2 . The container of claim 1 wherein the dispensing panel angle is between about 101 and about 104 degrees relative to the bottom wall.

3 . The container of claim 1 wherein a minimum head space distance between the dispensing partition and the top of a stack of wipes while present in the interior cavity in a fullest configuration is at least 0.5 inches.

4 . The container of claim 3 wherein the minimum head space distance between the dispensing partition and the top of a stack of wipes while present in the interior cavity in the fullest configuration is between about 0.5 and about 1.0 inches.

5 . The container of claim 1 further comprising a base support panel extending from the bottom wall of the container, the base support panel forming a base support panel angle of between about 85 and 95 degrees with the support portion.

6 . The container of claim 5 wherein the base support panel forms a base support panel angle of about 90 degrees with the support portion.

7 . The container of claim 1 wherein the stack of wipes comprises a width, a length and a height; wherein the height of the stack of wipes is less than the width.

8 . The container of claim 7 wherein the container has a depth, wherein the depth is less than the width of the stack of wipes.

9 . The container of claim 1 wherein the dispensing panel lies in a plane within ±10 degrees of the support portion.

10 . The container of claim 1 wherein the wipes may be dispensed from the container when the container is in an upright configuration or a horizontal configuration.

11 . A container for storing wipes comprising:
a front wall, a back wall, a top wall, and a bottom wall defining an interior cavity for storage of a stack of wipes, the stack of wipes having a top, a bottom, a first end, and a second end; a dispensing panel including a dispensing aperture formed therethrough; a support portion within the interior cavity of the container for support of the bottom of the stack of wipes; and wherein the support portion forms a support portion angle relative to the bottom wall and wherein a minimum head space distance between the dispensing partition and the top of a stack of wipes while present in the interior cavity in a fullest configuration is at least 0.5 inches.

12 . The container of claim 11 wherein the dispensing panel angle is between about 100 and about 115 degrees with the bottom wall.

13 . The container of claim 11 wherein a minimum head space distance between the dispensing partition and the top of a stack of wipes while present in the interior cavity in a fullest configuration is between 0.5 and about 1.0 inches.

14 . The container of claim 11 further comprising a base support panel extending from the bottom wall of the container, the base support panel forming an angle of between about 85 and 95 degrees with the support portion.

15 . The container of claim 14 wherein the base support panel forms an angle of about 90 degrees with the support portion.

16 . The container of claim 11 wherein the stack of wipes comprises a width, a length and a height; wherein the height of the stack of wipes is less than the width.

17 . The container of claim 16 wherein the container has a depth, wherein the depth is less than the width of the stack of wipes.

18 . The container of claim 11 wherein the dispensing panel lies in a plane substantially parallel with the support portion.

19 . A container for storing wipes comprising:
a front wall, a back wall, a top wall, and a bottom wall defining an interior cavity for storage of a stack of wipes, the stack of wipes having a top, a bottom, a first end, and a second end; a dispensing panel, the dispensing panel including a dispensing aperture formed therethrough; a support portion within the interior cavity of the container for support of the bottom of the stack of wipes; wherein the support portion forms a support portion angle with the bottom wall; and the wipes may be dispensed from the container when the container is in an upright configuration or a horizontal configuration.
