Information processing device, information processing system and computer-readable storage medium

Abstract

An information processing device of the present invention includes a connecting section which connects application modules capable of performing application processing, a receiving section which receives an electronic mail including a command transmitted from a terminal device, an interpreting section which interprets the command included in the electronic mail received by the receiving section, a designating section which designates, from among the application modules connected by the connecting section, an application module corresponding to the command interpreted by the interpreting section as the execution destination of the command, an acquiring section which acquires a processing result of processing performed by the application module designated by the designating section, and a transmitting section which creates a response electronic mail with the processing result acquired by the acquiring section as a response, and transmits the response electronic mail to the terminal device.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An information processing device comprising:
 a connecting section which connects application modules capable of performing application processing;   a receiving section which receives an electronic mail including a command transmitted from a terminal device;   an interpreting section which interprets the command included in the electronic mail received by the receiving section;   a designating section which designates, from among the application modules connected by the connecting section, an application module corresponding to the command interpreted by the interpreting section as an execution destination of the command;   an acquiring section which acquires a processing result of processing performed by the application module designated by the designating section; and   a transmitting section which creates a response electronic mail with the processing result acquired by the acquiring section as a response, and transmits the response electronic mail to the terminal device.   
     
     
         2 . The information processing device according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a managing section which manages the application modules,   wherein the designating section references management contents of the managing section based on the command interpreted by the interpreting section, and designates the application module corresponding to the command as the execution destination of the command.   
     
     
         3 . The information processing device according to  claim 2 , wherein the managing section registers and manages, when a new application module is additionally connected to the connecting section, module identification information of the new application module in response to a registration instruction from the new application module; and
 wherein the designating section references the management contents of the managing section based on module identification information acquired by command interpretation by the interpreting section and, when corresponding module identification information has been registered, designates an application module indicated by the module identification information as the execution destination of the command.   
     
     
         4 . The information processing section according to  claim 1 , wherein the designating section successively designates, when the command interpreted by the interpreting section has contents designating a combination of a plurality of application modules, the plurality of application modules as the execution destination of the command, in accordance with the contents; and
 wherein the acquiring section acquires processing results of processing successively performed by the plurality of application modules designated by the designating section.   
     
     
         5 . The information processing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the designating section designates, when the command interpreted by the interpreting section has contents instructing use of a file attached to the electronic mail, an application module corresponding to the command as the execution destination of the command, and outputs the attached file to the designated application module. 
     
     
         6 . The information processing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the receiving section receives the electronic mail from the terminal device on a condition that address of the electronic mail from the terminal device is an address having access authorization set in advance. 
     
     
         7 . The information processing device according to  claim 6 , wherein the access authorization is set for each application module. 
     
     
         8 . The information processing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the application modules include an application processing section and a command processing section which executes the command interpreted by the interpreting section. 
     
     
         9 . The information processing device according to  claim 1 , wherein the application modules are operation-specific application modules corresponding to operation types, and the command includes an operation type and inquiry contents regarding operation status. 
     
     
         10 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon a program that is executable by a computer, the program being executable by the computer to perform functions comprising:
 processing for connecting application modules capable of performing application processing;   processing for receiving an electronic mail including a command transmitted from a terminal device,   processing for interpreting the command included in the received electronic mail;   processing for designating, from among the connected application modules, an application module corresponding to the interpreted command as an execution destination of the command;   processing for acquiring a processing result of processing performed by the designated application module; and   processing for creating a response electronic mail with the acquired processing result as a response, and transmitting the response electronic mail to the terminal device.   
     
     
         11 . An information processing system including a terminal device that transmits electronic mail and an information processing device connected to the terminal device via a network, comprising:
 a connecting section which connects application modules capable of performing application processing;   a receiving section which receives an electronic mail including a command transmitted from the terminal device;   an interpreting section which interprets the command included in the electronic mail received by the receiving section;   a designating section which designates, from among the application modules connected by the connecting section, an application module corresponding to the command interpreted by the interpreting section as an execution destination of the command;   an acquiring section which acquires a processing result of processing performed by the application module designated by the designating section; and   a transmitting section which creates a response electronic mail with the processing result acquired by the acquiring section as a response, and transmits the response electronic mail to the terminal device.
