Abstract
An article of jewellery includes a first panel ( 2 ) and a second panel ( 3 ) facing the first panel ( 2 ) and being both formed by a plurality of single pieces ( 4, 5 ) which are distinct from each other, first linking elements ( 20 ) being configured to rigidly assemble the single pieces ( 4, 5 ) respectively of first and second panels ( 2, 3 ) which face and second linking elements ( 21 ) being each configured to assemble at least two the single pieces ( 4, 5 ) of the first panel ( 2 ) or the second panel ( 3 ) so that the two single pieces ( 4, 5 ) are movable with respect to each other.

Article of jewellery comprising a first panel ( 2 ) and a second panel ( 3 ) facing said first panel ( 2 ) and being both formed by a plurality of single pieces ( 4 , 5 ) which are distinct from each other, first linking elements ( 20 ) being configured to rigidly assemble said single pieces ( 4 , 5 ) respectively of first and second panels ( 2 , 3 ) which face and second linking elements ( 21 ) being each configured to assemble at least two said single pieces ( 4 , 5 ) of said first panel ( 2 ) or said second panel ( 3 ) so that said two single pieces ( 4 , 5 ) are movable with respect to each other.
2 . Article according to claim 1 , wherein the second linking elements ( 21 ) are each configured to cooperate with at least two said first linking elements ( 20 ).
3 . Article according to claim 1 , wherein the second linking elements ( 21 ) are each configured to assemble between two and six single pieces ( 4 , 5 ) of either first or second panels ( 2 , 3 ).
4 . Article according to claim 1 , wherein the first linking elements are formed by pins ( 20 ) which project from said first panel ( 2 ) and which are configured to be fixed to the second panel ( 3 ).
5 . Article according to claim 4 , wherein the second panel ( 3 ) comprises a plurality of holes ( 22 ) each being configured to receive a free end of a pin ( 20 ).
6 . Article according to claim 1 , wherein at least one said second linking element is formed by a frame ( 21 ) having at least two eyes ( 42 ), each eye ( 42 ) being configured to surround a pin ( 20 ).
7 . Article according to claim 1 , wherein said first and second panels ( 2 , 3 ) have each a plurality of single pieces ( 4 , 5 ) which are of different shapes.
8 . Article according to claim 1 , wherein the single pieces ( 4 ) of said first panel ( 2 ) which face the single pieces ( 5 ) of said second panel ( 3 ) have similar outlines.

Article according to claim 1 , wherein it has a general rectangular shape comprising a middle zone ( 6 ) and two lateral zones ( 7 , 8 ) and the single pieces ( 4 , 5 ) in the middle zone ( 6 ) have each an outline defining a perimeter which is similar to the perimeter defined by an outline of each of the single pieces ( 4 , 5 ) in the lateral zones ( 7 , 8 ).
10 . Article according to claim 1 , wherein each single piece ( 4 , 5 ) of first and second panels ( 2 , 3 ) is assembled to other single pieces ( 4 , 5 ) by at least two first linking elements ( 20 ) and by at least two second linking elements ( 21 ).
11 . Article according to claim 1 , wherein it has two lateral faces ( 12 , 13 ) and a flange ( 15 , 16 ) which projects from said first panel ( 2 ) and covers partially said second panel ( 3 ).
12 . Article according to claim 1 , wherein it is at least partially made from a precious metal.
13 . Method of manufacturing an article of jewellery ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , comprising the following steps:
providing a first panel ( 2 ) having a plurality of single pieces ( 4 ) and having first linking elements ( 20 ) on said single pieces ( 4 ); providing a second panel ( 3 ) having a plurality of single pieces ( 5 ); providing second liking elements ( 21 ); mounting said second linking elements ( 21 ) on said first linking elements ( 20 ) to assemble at least two said single pieces ( 4 ) of said first panel ( 2 ) so that said two single pieces ( 4 ) are moveable with respect to each other; facing said first panel ( 2 ) with said second panel ( 3 ); and fixing the first linking elements ( 21 ) to the second panel ( 3 ) to rigidly assemble the single pieces ( 4 , 5 ) respectively of said first and second panels ( 2 , 3 ) which face.
14 . Method according to claim 13 , wherein the first linking elements are formed by pins ( 20 ) and the second panel ( 3 ) comprises holes ( 22 ) configured to receive free end of said pins ( 20 ) and the step of fixing the pins ( 20 ) to the second panel ( 3 ) is made by welding.
15 . Method according to claim 14 , wherein it further comprises a step of polishing an outer face ( 35 ) of said second panel ( 3 ).
16 . Article according to claim 2 , wherein the second linking elements ( 21 ) are each configured to assemble between two and six single pieces ( 4 , 5 ) of either first or second panels ( 2 , 3 ).
17 . Article according to claim 2 , wherein the first linking elements are formed by pins ( 20 ) which project from said first panel ( 2 ) and which are configured to be fixed to the second panel ( 3 ).
18 . Article according to claim 3 , wherein the first linking elements are formed by pins ( 20 ) which project from said first panel ( 2 ) and which are configured to be fixed to the second panel ( 3 ).
19 . Article according to claim 2 , wherein at least one said second linking element is formed by a frame ( 21 ) having at least two eyes ( 42 ), each eye ( 42 ) being configured to surround a pin ( 20 ).
