Endoscope adapter including light emitting diode, and adapter type endoscope
Abstract
An endoscope adapter including a light emitting diode includes: a detachable portion to be attached to an adapter attaching portion provided on a distal end portion of an insertion portion, the insertion portion including inside thereof at least one image-forming optical system; an adapter main body including an adapter side observation optical system whose optical axis is coincident with an optical axis of the image-forming optical system; a contact pin which enables power supply to the light emitting diode to be turned on when the detachable portion is attached to the adapter attaching portion; and a resistor arranged in a space formed in the endoscope adapter to determine a type of the endoscope adapter.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . (canceled)
2 . An endoscope adapter including a light emitting diode, to be connected to an insertion portion of an endoscope in which the insertion portion includes an image-forming optical system and an endoscope side electrical connection portion inside a distal end portion thereof, the endoscope side electrical connection portion being connected to a power cable extending from a power supply portion, the endoscope adapter comprising:
an adapter side detachable portion to be attached to an adapter attaching portion provided at the distal end portion of the insertion portion of the endoscope; an adapter side electrical connection portion having a plurality of contact pins which are brought into contact with the endoscope side electrical connection portion when the endoscope adapter is connected to the insertion portion of the endoscope; a side view optical system for observation in a side view direction by bending an optical axis of the image-forming optical system inside the distal end portion of the insertion portion so as to extend in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the insertion portion of the endoscope; an adapter main body that has a holding region for holding the light emitting diode provided to be distal with respect to an observation window of the side view optical system, an arrangement space in which the adapter side electrical connection portion is arranged, and a space provided at an opposite side to the holding region for holding the light emitting diode and configured to arrange a wide and flat substrate which electrically connects between the adapter side electrical connection portion and the light emitting diode; a determination resistor arranged in the adapter main body on a distal end side of the adapter main body and configured to determine a type of the endoscope adapter; and a main body exterior member to which the adapter main body is internally fitted and which has an opening formed at a region corresponding to the holding region of the adapter main body.
3 . The endoscope adapter according to claim 2 , wherein the adapter side electrical connection portion comprises:
springs which are conductive members and configured to urge the contact pins towards the distal end portion of the insertion portion of the endoscope; case bodies which are conductive members each having a pipe shape and in which the springs and the contact pins are arranged to be slidable; and an insulating portion configured to integrally cover the case bodies in a state where the case bodies are arranged in parallel with and insulated from each other.
4 . The endoscope adapter according to claim 3 , wherein the side view optical system comprises a prism and the adapter main body has a support portion for arranging the prism.
5 . The endoscope adapter according to claim 4 , wherein an electric connection path from the wide and flat substrate to the light emitting diode is laid out so as to pass on the distal end side of the adapter main body from the space provided in the adapter main body towards the light emitting diode.
6 . The endoscope adapter according to claim 5 , wherein the determination resistor is provided on the wide and flat substrate.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
