Abstract

A fishing or hunting wader having an outer shell made of breathable fabric and also having a layer of insulation and a waterproof lining such that the wader is waterproof, insulated and breathable, the wader further comprises an attached boot

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A wader, comprising:
 an outer breathable shell comprising at least one leg portion; and   an inner lining attached to said shell, said lining comprising a layer of fabric having desired insulative properties and a layer of fabric having desired water-resistance properties.   
     
     
         2 . A wader as set forth in  claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of attachment points located on an interior side of said shell and a plurality of corresponding attachment points located on said lining and a plurality of connectors for connecting said shell attachment points and said lining attachment points. 
     
     
         3 . A wader as set forth in  claim 2 , wherein each of said plurality of connectors comprises a first end and a second end, and wherein said first end is attached to a shell attachment point and the corresponding said second end is attached to a lining attachment point. 
     
     
         4 . A wader as set forth in  claim 3 , wherein said one of said plurality of connector first ends is secured to one of a plurality of fabric members and said one of a plurality of fabric members is adhered to shell at one of said plurality of attachment points, and wherein the corresponding one of said plurality of connector second ends is secured to lining at the corresponding one of said attachment points between said insulative layer and said water-resistant layer. 
     
     
         5 . A wader as set forth in  claim 4 , wherein the number of attachment points and connectors is four. 
     
     
         6 . A wader as set forth in  claim 2 , comprising two leg portions and further comprising a boot attached to each of the two leg portions at a lower edge thereof. 
     
     
         7 . A wader as set forth in claim.  6 , wherein a top edge of said wader extends above the waist of a user. 
     
     
         8 . A wader as set forth in  claim 4 , wherein said water-resistance layer is waterproof.
